Your JobIndeed is seeking a Director of SMB Growth Broadcast Media who will be accountable for the development of the media strategy and execution of growth programs in the US with a focus on small to medium sized businesses across the following primary channels: TV (Broadcast, Cable, OTT/CTV), Radio (AM/FM, SiriusXM, Streaming Music), and Podcasts. This role is responsible for managing our media agency relationship and will lead the planning, budgeting and development of large scale national and local campaigns. You will focus on driving growth of our SMB customer base, while ensuring efficiency by hitting Cost per Acquisition (CPA) targets. You should be able to synthesize campaign performance into a compelling strategy that serves as an anchor of the overall marketing plan.The ideal candidate has significant experience independently managing and optimizing TV and Audio media plans towards user acquisition. You are a problem solver at heart and can work well independently. You are innovative and resourceful, always striving to drive the most impact from your channels. You are analytical with data ultimately driving your decision making process. You are an excellent collaborator, able to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure success of your initiatives. You are not satisfied with the status quo and always look for ways to make the program better. You are a strong people manager, able to mentor and grow your team members into highly effective performance marketers.What you will do:Own media strategy and manages quarterly campaign execution through our external media agencies for the following channels: TV (Broadcast, Cable, OTT/CTV), Audio (Radio, SiriusXM, Streaming Music) campaignsEnsure that overall TV & Audio strategy reflects the most recent learnings and insights from each channel's respective performanceMonitor and optimize each channel to drive efficient CPAsLead relationship with the external Media Agency, including overall strategy, direction, project prioritization. Manages weekly meetings/calls with agency as it relates to TV and Radio.Ensures that all media plans are consistent with the overall SMB growth marketing goals and that the agencies have created the necessary project plans for TV (Broadcast, Cable), Audio (Radio, SiriusXM, Streaming Music, Podcast) each quarter and holds the agencies accountable for delivering all work on time and completed at high standard.Identify and prioritize testing roadmap for TV & AudioBe accountable for the evaluation and recommendation for all test plans and inventoryUnderstand campaign reporting, the whys behind weekly and monthly trends, and makes significant strategic recommendations on how to optimize campaign performance.Work with Media Agency to develop annual and multi-year TV & Audio plansReview recent performance against forecasted media plans and underlying assumptions to determine if revised performance guidance is required or incremental investment opportunities existEnsure media campaigns follow best practice guidelinesDrive innovation and thought-leadership within assigned media channels (E.g emerging media channels and adtech improvements)Who You Are10+ years experience in media strategy and planning across various media channels with a particular focus on DRTV, Upfront/Scatter marketplace inventory, Radio (AM/FM/SiriusXM), OTT/CTV, Streaming Music, & PodcastSignificant experience running, measuring, and optimizing acquisition/growth campaigns to scale impactDetail-oriented with exceptional curiosity, critical thinking, and solution-driven capabilitiesBias towards analytics and measurement with extensive experience measuring your campaigns againstevenue-related goalsComfort and ease working with large budgets, aggressive targets and the measurement of key performance metrics (e.g. CPA)Proven track record of project managing and scaling large programs with ease and organizationAble to drive and manage multiple complex projects at onceSelf-driven and resourceful.
