We advocate for our employees to speak-up, learn, experiment, share, and be part of an where diversity is embraced.ABOUT THE TEAM As a core member of the Private Equity team, the Sr. Director (or Director) Private Equity, will be responsible for all aspects of the investment process across the technology sector, including origination, analysis, execution, asset management and exit strategies as well as playing a pivotal role in the sourcing and management of our GP relationships focused on technology investing. Reporting to one of the four Managing Directors in the team, the Sr. Director (or Director) Private Equity, will focus primarily on sourcing and leading investment deals in the Technology industry. The successful candidate will have excellent investment judgement, technical skills, and interpersonal skills to develop the direct, co-investments, and fund investment capabilities in North America. -ABOUT YOUR ROLE As Director/Senior Director, Private Equity you'll:

  • Coordinate all aspects of deal process from deal sourcing, analysis, structuring and portfolio management.
  • Lead teams in the preparation of analysis of potential investment opportunities - company and market research, financial and valuation analysis, meetings with prospective partners and advisors, industry expert interviews, etc.
  • Actively participating in the sourcing, diligence, monitoring of our GP relationships in technology
  • Actively participate in sourcing and managing the deal pipeline: develop relationships with PE firms/institutional investors, attend industry/banker meetings, build sector knowledge, and maintain ongoing market awareness.
  • Design and lead execution of all aspects of due diligence process (including commercial, financial, tax, structuring, ESG and other workstreams), including review of financial models, preparation of materials for the investment committee, deal structuring and negotiation.
  • Manage team of analysts, associates, and managers.WHAT YOU'LL NEED Investment Management Industry Experience
    • A minimum of 10 years' experience across investment management, investment banking (leverage finance/M&A) and/or management consulting, of which 5+ years in private equity (direct investing).
    • Experience within the Technology, Software or any other related sector is highly desirable.Proven track record in deal origination, structuring, execution, and portfolio company management
      • A distinguished personal track record in having originated and executed on several large-scale PE buyouts in North America, managing large scale, complex investment processes.Broad relevant network
        • Well-developed deal sourcing network in North America, a robust network of contacts as well as the capability to leverage new and existing personal relationships and networks.
        • Track record of influencing and engaging with boards and senior management teams.Education
          • Excellent academic credentials: a business, economics or scientific degree is preferred, but other degrees will also be considered.
