Job Summary

Effectv is an audience delivery company using proprietary data and insights to craft the best media solutions and experiences for our local and national Effectv is an audience delivery company using proprietary data and insights to craft the best media solutions and experiences for our local and national customers leveraging TV, OTT, and digital inventory. We are seeking an Executive Director of Commercialization to inaugurate commercialization at Effectv, reporting into the SVP of Product. This function ensures the successful launch, scale, and support of solutions by orchestrating the organization from concept through delivery and eventual sunset in order to arrive at stronger business outcomes for Effectv and our customers. This role supports growth and profitability of our commercialized products; conducts and interprets organizational positioning, analysis and other studies; identifies and investigates and acquisitions/divestitures, licensing opportunities and strategic business alliances that are in line with the organization's long-range goals; and provides critical leadership and direction for diverse and complex functions involved in bringing Effectv's customer facing products to market.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Leads phases of the product lifecycle from inception through product deployment and provides direction of introduction into the marketplace.

Evaluates and ensures the viability of new product ideas in the context of the organization's strengths and capabilities, production capability, quality, costs and marketplace demands.

Advises staff on clear documentation of new product ideas and reviews user need analysis reports.

Develops goals, budget and strategic business plans. Recommends ways to expand sales and profitability.

Identifies and evaluates the latest product ideas or strategic product extensions and ensures goals in revenue growth and market share are achieved.

Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.

Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Extensive experience in the program management: You have direct and extensive knowledge of program management practices ideally in a matrixed environment. While this is not a PMO role, you will need to be able to look at programs and processes holistically to ensure it can come together at the right time.

You ideally have:

Bachelors Degree or Equivalent (MBA preferred but not required)

Generally, requires 10-12 years related experience with increasing responsibility

Experience in an advertising or media sales organization preferred

Track record of success navigating and operating in a fast-paced, highly matrixed environment.

Strong analytical capacity and business acumen required

Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on collaboration

Strong understanding of customer segmentation

Strong attention to detail
