About the Team:Business Science and Analytics (BSA) is one of the fastest growing fields within MediaCom and focuses on (1) providing data and analytics services to our clients, (2) developing optimal processes for managing data and performing analytics and (3) innovating in methods and algorithms used for data and analytics. MediaCom Business Science and Analytics gives clients the power and confidence to make smarter investment decisions. The BSA team supplies a wide range of advanced measurement options to drive business, channel & campaign planning as well as support our teams in developing optimization for clients, helping to set clear action plans for improvement.BSA is staffed by a team of professionals trained and dedicated to three specific areas: Cross Channel Measurement, Digital Analytics and Business Consultation. We are passionate and enjoy the energy, variety, and fast-paced environment a media agency has to offer.About the Role:The role will encompass both Analytics as well as Digital Acceleration. The Associate Director will be responsible for Digital/Direct research, analysis, insight generation, and optimizations. This position advances the understanding of online and direct marketing dynamics through developing critical business insights across our clients to increase their ROAS on media investments. You will also be expected to work closely with the Channel specific teams to make optimization recommendations based on performance data to further push business results. You will report to the Director of Analytics.Your Impact:

  • Oversee the Digital Analytics for the client and related delivery processes
  • Lead the delivery of digital analytics projects and present results to clients
  • Create impactful insights and actions based on a multitude of data points which can be effectively communicated to clients of all levels
  • Define integration points with existing data and analytics capabilities
    • Manage projects that primarily focus on the impact and/or ROAS (return on ad spend) of media and marketing activities (including advertising and promotional activities)
      • Understand digital platforms and their reporting capabilities to uncover and glean media insights
      • In tandem with the Accelerator Director, foster collaboration across teams and create forums to bring functions together to share performance and make optimization decisions
      • Develop, train and groom team including Analysts, Sr. Analysts, Managers

      • Manage an agile process to drive performance, and growth Your Knowledge & Abilities:
        • Hands-on experience with various use-cases for digital data and analytics such as dashboarding, path analysis, digital cross-channel attribution, optimal frequency, etc.
        • Comprehensive understanding of metrics: Media (e.g., impression, GRP, CPV, CVR, ROAS, etc.), Measurement and attribution analytics, and Quantitative business measures (LTV, ROAS, Effectiveness, etc.)
        • Good understanding of all aspects of Digital Media, Programmatic, Search, Social, ad-technologies, etc.
        • Familiarity with various types of data available such as planning data, media spend data, Adobe data, DMP data, audience data, social data, search data, etc.
        • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills
        • Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills
        • Ability to inspire others and develop managers, analysts, and data architect
        • Detailed awareness of client business issues, industry trends, consumer trends, promotional resources, market status and competition. B2B experience a plus.
        • Knowledge of key digital/analytic tools/platforms: Google Ads, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Social platforms, Adobe Analytics, etc. Nielsen VIQ a plusYour Qualifications:
          • 5+ years' experience in media analytics role at an agency or consultancy
