Make It With Pride.This Sr Associate Manager, RGM is responsible for conducting strategic pricing analysis and supporting pricing and PPA opportunity development in the US biscuit category. The focus will be on supporting both short- and long-term plans for biscuits. You help execute the revenue management workstream to help us optimize the return on investment on our trade spend activities.How you will contributeYou will:

  • Provide overall analytical support of pricing and PPA opportunities and strategies for US Biscuits
  • Develop tools that support the Mondelez RGM approach to strategic growth, including but not limited to, elasticity modeling, own and competitive price tracking, and KPI reporting
  • Conduct situational review analysis to identify RGM opportunities. Triangulate consumer/ shopper research, pricing analytics, market data to turn insight into action.
  • Tracking and validation of the impact of pricing moves and PPA strategies in-market (Mondelez and competitors across adjacent categories)
  • Identify portfolio Price-Pack Architecture (PPA) opportunities for growth across channels and consumer occasions
  • Work with customer teams to track progress towards revenue KPIs
  • Complete promotional post evaluations in partnership with Finance and Marketing
  • Support the Customer Planning Manager by providing regular reporting including volume tracking, trade spend, % promoted, seasonal in flight tracking
  • Monitor revenue realization of any cost price increases
  • Work with customer teams and Sales Finance to ensure all trade spend in the system is accruing correctly
  • Attend customer forecast surgeries to understand customer dynamics and identify opportunities and risks to the plan
  • Approve promotional activity in line with guidelines with regular reviews of promotional spendWhat you will bringA desire to drive your future and accelerate your career and the following experience and knowledge:

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
    • Ability to manipulate large sets of data, designing visuals, and creating custom reports using ETL and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Alteryx, Tableau)

    • Reducing complexity using an analytical, disciplined and collaborative approach

    • Customer and category knowledge a distinct advantageMore about this roleWhile initial tasks will include gathering and interpreting data, this role will ultimately be accountable for providing continuous pricing and PPA insights to the US RGM team and other key stakeholders. The role is expected to contribute towards, and expand on pricing capabilities, analytics/modeling, and toolkits. The role will receive exposure to senior leaders both regionally and globally. As a result, multiple future career path avenues are possible for the high performing incumbent.Requirements
      • Bachelors Degree in a field linked to business analytics, statistics, economics, applied mathematics, or a related analytics discipline required (Masters degree an asset)
      • 3-4+ years in CPG, Retail Customers and/or a marketing research company (such as IRI/Nielsen) providing advanced analytics solutions to internal or external clients
      • 2-3 years utilizing syndicated data, such as IRI/Nielsen (i.e. source of volume, price & promotion, marketing mix)For office-based, salaried roles at Bakery and Customer Service & Logistics locations, and some remote roles proof of COVID-19 vaccination is required to be eligible for employment.
