Job Title: Director of Learning and Evaluation Reports to: Deputy Director Position Summary The Director of Evaluation and Learning provides guidance, vision, and management for the effective monitoring, evaluation, learning, and reporting of LINC and all its collective efforts. The role will implement efficient and practical strategies to ensure LINC measures outcomes and impact effectively while also communicating results to internal and external stakeholders to cultivate a culture of learning and constant improvement.The Director of Learning and Evaluation will lead the refinement of the monitoring and evaluation processes to surface insights that will drive decision making at all levels. The Director of Learning and Evaluation will play a crucial role in helping Literacy Inc. scale by ensuring programs are codified, monitored and continuously assessed. Monitoring, Evaluation and Impact Demonstrated relevant technical skills in analyzing and interpreting quantitative and qualitative data, and packaging the findings in various formats and for multiple audiences. Oversee data collection, collation, storage, analysis, and reporting, ensuring that data is of high quality and audit worthy. Integrate learning, collaboration, and adaptation into ongoing monitoring and evaluation efforts. Conduct and manage Routine Data Quality Assessments; ensure implementation of corrective actions to improve data quality and accountability of staff and partners. Working collaboratively with senior leadership teams, identify and codify the Key Performance Indicators, ensuring each is monitored and assessed. Create and adapt LINC's M&E frameworks in order to strengthen program design and measure impact. Works with program and development teams (and other stakeholders) to ensure timely M&E compliance on reporting for internal and external (donor) reporting, focusing on accuracy and integrity and high quality of data, data analysis, and information generated. Oversees internal and external evaluation results and learning processes that inform annual reports, board reports and other reports that inform staff and outside stakeholders. Manage a team of two Oversight of Salesforce database: Works closely with the evaluation team, and outside consultants, to ensure the development of robust systems that ensure efficient data collection and meaningful outcomes. Leads the evaluation team in the development of dashboards, forms, and reports for data entry, benchmarking and analysis Ensures database integrity and accuracy across departments and communities. Ensure Salesforce architecture meets the needs of programmatic and strategic changes. External Manages the relationship with external, third-party evaluators. Contributes to/develops M&E-focused communications including approaches for data visualization and storytelling. Provides internal evaluation visual results and learning processes to inform annual reports, board reports and other reports that present results to staff and outside stakeholders.Performs other related tasks as assigned. Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree required; Masters preferred10+ years evaluation experience and expertise in both quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysisExcellent presentation and facilitation skills, and verbal/written communicationDisplays cultural, gender, religion, race, nationality and age sensitivity and adaptabilitySpanish language or an additional language a plusAbility to work independently and as a member of a diverse teamAbility to travel throughout all 5 boroughs of NYCProven ability to problem solve, navigate ambiguity, and identify potential risks and opportunities.Humor and Can Do attitude is highly valuedHighly proficient in GSuite, Salesforce, Microsoft suite, and statistical software Salary Range: 90,000-98,000LINC is a hybrid work environment.
