  • Responsible for day-to-day activities related to fund accounting and reporting of closed-end funds, open-ended funds, UCITS funds, and separately managed accounts trading liquid credit strategies.
  • Review and oversee daily and month-end NAVs including investor statements, investor allocation, shareholder capital activity, performance metrics, reimbursement/recoupment expense calculations, calculation of asset-based fees, management fees, and performance fees; investigate and resolve discrepancies with administrators and internal teams.
  • Review expense allocations, operating expense budgets, vendor expense payments, and monitor budgeted versus actual expenses.
  • Manage all fund level operating activities including the review of tender redemptions, shares repurchase program, at-the-market offerings, capital calls, and dividend distributions.
  • Review quarterly, semi-annual, and annual financial statements pursuant to U.S. GAAP and ensure accurate and timely SEC regulatory filings (e.g. N-CSR, N-PORT, N-CEN, N-2, Form PF, and Form ADV).
  • Coordinate and oversee external administrators, transfer agents and external auditors for year-end audits.
  • Manage and review quarterly reporting deliverables to Blackstone.
    • Review fund legal documents, manage new fund/separately managed account launches, and manage investor requests.
    • Collaborate with internal teams including Investor Client Services, Operations, Management Reporting, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and Legal and Compliance.
    • Coordinate with internal audit to ensure SOX compliance.
    • Work with technology teams to improve automation/reporting of manual processes.
    • Responsible for development of junior team members and collaboration with our offshore team members.Qualifications: - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
      • BS (or above) in Accounting or Finance
      • CPA and/or CFA preferred
      • 12+ -years of public accounting, fund, or administrator experience, preferably Big 4 and asset management
      • Experience with registered funds (closed-end, mutual funds, interval funds, UCITS funds, or exchange traded funds, etc.) required
      • Experience in the credit industry is preferred
      • Strong technical accounting and reporting skills
      • Ability to partner across teams, summarize issues, and develop recommendations or make decisions
      • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
      • Excellent analytical, problem solving ability, and ability to work with various levels of management
