The Dominick is an independent hotel that offers its leadership team both freedom and responsibility.

The downtown address lends itself to a casual, more comfortable style of luxury. The design of the hotel imbues a welcoming feeling to the arrival experience with a soaring lobby space enriched by the warmth of wood louvers and the glow of a fireplace. Summer is when the Terrace on 7 becomes a coveted destination with the outdoor lounge pool, cabanas, and a chance to imbibe on a sampling of international street food and refreshing cocktails.

The Dominick is looking for a Food & Beverage Manager with strong food and beverage experience to round out our Food & Beverage Department.

*Job Responsibilities: *
-Work closely with the management team to oversee daily operations.
-Recruit, hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and motivate staff.
-Conduct and/or attend pre-shift meetings.
-Open and close lounge and complete accompanying tasks efficiently, accurately, and with a keen eye for detail.
-Handle guest complaints in a personal and timely manner.
-Abide by and uphold company policies, and standards as well as state sanitation/health regulations.
-Seamlessly balance time between three Food & Beverage outlets.
-Ensure and maintain safe and secure working conditions/environment

*Requirements: *

-A college degree or equivalent experience.
-A minimum of three years experience working as front-of-house/floor manager in a fast-paced, high volume, bar lounge.
-Exceptional leadership and communication skills.
-Proven ability to motivate and manage staff.
-Strong knowledge of service points, food, wine, and spirits, and the ability to train staff in all areas.
-Ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a high-pressure work environment.
-Excellent time management and prioritization skills, and the ability to multitask.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $65,000.00 per year
