We are looking for a healthcare data analyst -- someone with the ability to assemble complex data and the analytical skills to interpret them in a rigorous way.You will be an integral part of the Growth team, responsible for driving the organization's growth across our new clients and current partners. You will collaborate with Growth team leadership to facilitate the clinical services and technology model for value based care organizations. A fundamental priority for this position will be communicating the value of RubiconMD to customers in order to influence business objectives. You will work closely with our clinical, account management, implementation and data science teams. You'll have the opportunity to work on a diverse set of projects and to build the foundations of our healthcare analytics. You will also be responsible for collaborating with executive leadership to design new and complementary solutions.
Key responsibilities:

  • Analyze the financial performance of all RubiconMD products, identify (favorable and unfavorable) trends, develop strategies to improve trends and communicate recommendations for solutions to management
  • Collaborate directly with Business Development Directors and Account Managers to support client and prospect needs for growth/sales opportunities including formulating business cases, pricing models, and pitch materials to present externally for prospect and partner interactions
  • Develop ROI models and analyses leveraging RubiconMD metrics and healthcare data to demonstrate value to enterprise clients and join client calls to explain model methodology
  • Design and build studies with clients to prove clinical impact and ROI of partnerships through claims-based analyses and reviews
  • Lead financial analysis and modeling for expansion opportunities in our core lines of business
  • Partner with legal, financial, and clinical teams to create legal and partnership structure documentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to measure and price new strategic growth initiatives that adjacent to our core business
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested

    Desired skills and experience:

    • Master's degree preferred (preference for education in Math, Finance, Actuarial Science, Public Health or Economics)
    • 4+ years of experience working with healthcare data and/or experience and education in applying quantitative methods to real world problems or healthcare consulting
    • Passion for using data to solve problems
    • Proficiency in at least one statistical programming language (R, Python, etc.)
    • Experience in healthcare claims data analysis and modeling
    • Self-motivated, creative problem solver who can work independently and collaborate through strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong project management experience and ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment
    • Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution and negotiating skills
    • Executive presence with internal and external leaders
    • Desire to continuously learn and develop professionally
    • Ability to prioritize, plan and handle multiple tasks/demands simultaneously
    • Team player
    • Independent thinker and ability to work autonomously

      The target base pay for this role is $120,000 - $130,000 per year. This role is also eligible for employee benefits and other compensation.
