Job Title: Management Company Accounting - Analyst
Job Description:
The successful candidate will have accounting and management reporting responsibility for our Registered Investment Advisors (aka Management Companies).
Responsibilities:
General
Full accounting and reporting responsibilities for advisor entities
Daily and monthly journal entry bookings and related reconciliations
Extensive interaction with our fund & tax accountants
Extensive interaction with auditors during the year-end audit
Extensive interaction with offshore support team
Extensive Management reporting
Sarbanes Oxley compliance
Balance Sheet
Cash reconciliations and relevant journal entries
Inter-company Reconciliation and Settlement of outstanding balances
Balance Sheet review and sign-off of relevant account
Income Statement
Revenue booking, analysis and forecasting
Review of Overhead Allocations
Expense booking, analysis and forecasting
Invoicing
Extensive interaction with Fund Operations team to assist with invoicing funds, portfolio companies or other counterparties for expense reimbursement
Reporting
Involvement in monthly management reporting
Qualifications:
Accounting degree or strong GAAP accounting knowledge is required
CPA or Public accounting experience a plus
Strong analytical & interpersonal skills are required
Superior MS Excel skills are required
Alternative Asset Management experience is a plus
Management reporting experience a plus
Attention to detail and ability to multi-task are critical
High energy, results-oriented individual with a real sense of urgency and commitment

Expected annual base salary range:
$85,000 - $100,000 Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.

Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
