What it's about In this position you will manage direct lending portfolios and develop and shape the private debt portfolio management efforts.

• Portfolio implementation of closed-end and open-end credit programs on a global basis but with a focus on US programs
• Steering capital calls, distributions, cash management, deployment, wind-down, and currency hedging
• Establishing, negotiating and managing credit facilities (borrowing base, advance rates, OC ratios, etc.)
• Monitoring and optimizing portfolio performance
• Create bespoke portfolio proposals and presentations for existing and new clients, focusing on asset allocation, investment returns/risk and cash flow modelling
• Together with senior portfolio managers and client sales professionals, support with client acquisition and retention
• Building, operating and enhancing systems and tools
• Modelling and analysis of private credit data and track record
• Reporting and analysis for internal stakeholders What we expect
  
  • University degree, with emphasis on Finance, Economics, Mathematics or similar
  • 5-7 -years of professional work experience in private credit or fixed income portfolio management
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to Partners Group's high standards of business conduct
  • Understanding of the principles of portfolio construction and private market investment structures
  • Strong work ethic with a desire to learn and succeed
  • Driven, with attention to detail
