Job Description:
Provide support to the Global Brand by leading the development
of new product forecasting guidelines for all markets. Work closely
with the Global Marketing, Product Development, Strategy, Finance,
and GBSC Teams in developing business plans as projects move
through the Innovation process. Communicate forecast guidelines to
the regions and assist them in incorporating them into their
business plans. Monitor brand sales trends for across all Regions
and Markets and provide ad-hoc demand analytics to support myriad
brand initiatives. Review and provide insights to alignment of the
Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation
between them as part of the larger SIOP. Lead improvements
initiatives on the Global Demand Plan and Financial signals to
support sustainable growth of the Brand. Lead product analytics
development to connect demand signals to other commercial and
consumer trends. ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead the development of new product forecasting guidelines for
all markets working closely with Global Marketing and Product
Development as part of the Brand and Corporate Innovation Process.
Work closely with Regional Brand and Demand Planning Teams to
assure robust business plans are put in place.
- Produce business analytics to support the Global Brand. This
includes the issuance of several standard monthly and quarterly
reports as well as general ad-hoc analyses. For all standard
reports provide a summary of findings and recommendations to allow
the brand to address risks and opportunities to the Brand's Annual
Operating Plan.
- Review and Lead improvements in the Global alignment of the
Demand Plan and Financial Estimate to understand reconciliation
between them as part of the large Sales Inventory and Operations
Planning (SIOP) process.
- Assist the Brand with the SKU Portfolio Management and APEX
process. Monitor the planned phase outs of existing items and
assure they are timed with any linked successor SKU launches.
- Support the Brand's Product Analytics:
- Maintain and evolve product dashboard to track the progress of
key metrics
- Analyze and synthesize product trends leveraging internal (SAP,
Corporate Marketing tools) and external (NPD, Beaute Research,
Generation) databases and insight from regional partners (i.e.,
rankings across categories and regions)
- Collaborate with other analytics pillars (Consumer and
Commercial analytics) to drive strategic recommendations for
business
- Special projects as needed. Qualifications Qualifications
- Position requires minimum of 8 years' experience with 5+ years
of demand planning/integrated business planning (IBP) expertise.
Experience in Marketing or Manufacturing in cosmetics or related
industry preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, strong excel skills, strong knowledge
of the demand planning process and business planning.
- Systems thinking mindset - ability to understand multiple
interactions with the demand-driven Supply Chain.
- Strong management with influence skills - proven ability to
work closely with cross functional partners and leadership team
(across marketing, finance, supply chain).
- Knowledge of the Marketing, Marketing Research, and Finance
functions is preferred. The anticipated base salary range for this
position is $113,500 to $195,000. Exact salary depends on several
factors such as experience, skills, education, and budget. Salary
range may vary based on geographic location. In addition to base
salary, this position is eligible for participation in a highly
competitive bonus program with possibility for overachievement
