exciting opportunity to join our team as a Senior Manager - Gift
Administration, Development & Alumni Affairs. In this role, the
successful candidate serves as a key partner to the Director of
Gift Administration and will support the Director in overseeing a
full range of gift administration and compliance activities in
support of the NYU Langone Health (NYULH) Office of Development &
Alumni Affairs. This a senior position within the team and will
manage the Assistant Manager, Grants Administration and Development
Specialist focusing on awards and grants as well as gifts from our
all Long Island locations. Additionally, the Manager will work
directly with the team and department partners to troubleshoot
day-to-day gift processing matters and provide technical assistance
when handling standard and nonstandard gifts and receipts as they
arise. This role will focus on supporting process improvement
efforts, maintaining the Gift Administration Standard Operating
Procedures manual, and is responsible for developing, and
facilitating a gift processing curriculum for the Gift
Administration team and the department at large.As a year round

- Oversee the Assistant Manager of Grants Administration who
processes all sponsored program awards and grants. Liaises with
Finance as needed.
- Supervise the Development Specialist who processes all gifts
directed to our Long Island locations as well as wire and stock
accounts, suspense tracking and reconciliations.
- Partner with the Gift Finance and Gift Administration teams on
day-to-day and process related items.
- Provide technical assistance and troubleshoot day-to-day gift
processing issues with the team as they arise, including support in
understanding gift agreements. Document and communicate all
solutions as needed.
- Ensure gifts are booked per donor intent and NYULH's Gift
Policy and pledges are coded correctly as per the pledge
agreement.
- Work with Director on gift related policies and policy
updates.
- Actively collaborate with the Data Systems team to address
system-related matters impacting the processing of gifts into the
department's CRM (TRAX). Document and communicate all solutions.
Partner on the development of a TRAX connection with Research
Navigator.
- Develop, maintain and facilitate a dynamic gift processing
curriculum with annual trainings tailored for the Gift
Administration team and the department at large. Conduct training
evaluations and refine trainings as needed.
- Facilitate cross-training plan within the Gift Administration
team; including training on Fund 15 processing.
- Maintain and communicate all updates to the Gift Administration
Standard Operating Procedures manual and process documents.
- Ensure compliance with CASE guidelines and keep abreast of new
developments and technologies within gift administration.

must have a Bachelors degree required and 5-8+ years related
experience; Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication
skills; Commitment to accuracy and attention to detail;
Self-motivated, results oriented, high level of energy, initiative
and creativity; ability to change priorities in a high-volume
environment; handle multiple concurrent assignments and meet
deadlines; Ability to work independently and as a team member;
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of diverse public;
Strong working knowledge of Development databases and understanding
of Development processes, methods and principles; Knowledge of
organization strategies and demonstrated experience in creating
systems of information organization and streamlining and improving
processes. Works strategically, collaboratively, respectfully, and
professionally with colleagues across all divisions and teams
within the department. Communicates clearly, shares, listens and
recognizes others contributions. Develops and enhances

in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $92,066.00
- $123,874.62 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of
factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital
