Use your exceptional understanding of Operational Risk
Management in Equities to work side-by-side with our Macquarie
Capital Equities division. Based in New York, you will report
directly to the Global Operational Risk Lead for Equities. Your
understanding of risk management will help you work with teams
across the Americas, Europe, and globally in order to drive a
strong risk management culture.This is a highly visible role
providing risk and thought leadership across the Equities
franchise. You'll work closely with all Front-to-Back support areas
(including Compliance, Finance, Operations and Settlements,
Second-line Risk, Information Technology, and Internal Audit etc.).
You will be part of a global, dynamic, and inclusive team.You
will:Have strong problem-solving skills and be responsible for the
execution and monitoring of risk management practices, operational
issues and control breakdownsReview and implement group-wide and
divisional policies and procedures across the Northern
HemisphereIdentify, manage, follow up, and close
incidents/issuesDrive increased operational risk awareness across
the Business and any subsequent improvements where
requiredRisk-assess new activities, businesses, and productsReview
and improve governance structuresLead deep-dive reviewsFacilitate
risk and control self-assessmentsManage Key Risk Indicators and
Operational Risk Management reporting, both Business-aligned and
Legal EntityAdopt a pragmatic approach to operational control that
balances risk and returns in a commercial mannerDeliver projects on
time, under pressureYour skills and experience will include:10+
years of working with exposure to operational risk management in a
trading environmentExtensive Equities Market experienceA strong
communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to
build relationships at all levelsAbility to work independently in a
fast paced environmentA curious and innovative self-starter, with
strong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to
detail and a strong commitment to integrity are essentialA
high-level of confidence to build good relationships, engendering

$200,000-$300,000 per year. Actual base salary may vary based upon,
but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and
market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic
location. The successful candidate may also be eligible for an
