Summary:
The Director, Global Cell Therapy, Strategy & Operations will act
as a key business partner supporting the Global CT Brand and
Franchise Strategy (GCT B&F Strat) leadership team and their
teams to enhance strategic decision-making across a dynamic,
complex portfolio and ensure achievement of business objectives to
drive business performance. The role will report to the Global Cell
Therapy Franchise Head of Strategy and Operations (CT S&O). The
Director will be responsible for collaborating across a broad
matrix team to drive key initiatives with senior management
engagement, lead knowledge exchange and collaboration between GCT
B&F Strat , markets and other functions to impact business
performance and streamline operations. - This individual will also
focus on developing innovative solutions to simplify and track
critical milestones, support the portfolio governance process and
key deliverables across global CT Franchise, proactively identify
opportunities, and ensure those solutions are incorporated.
Responsibilities:
Strategic partner to the Global CT Brand and Franchise Strategy
team
Accountable for the strategic planning & execution, finance and
resource management, metrics & performance measurement,
communication & collaboration, governance, quality & continuous
improvement and operational support for the team
Drive preparation for key senior management reviews and
presentations (Governance, GT process, Functional planning)
Facilitate the annual functional planning process (Budget and
P1-P3) and ensure timely reviews and data entry to our budget
management system, COMPASS
Coordinate agendas and facilitate LT and WW Brand Team meetings and
ensure follow up on key action items and decisions
Lead ad hoc cross functional teams to deliver critical and complex
initiatives with senior management engagement
Support Head CT S&O in planning and executing critical business
initiatives and driving innovation and change both organizationally
and culturally
Identify areas of synergy, best practice, and opportunity for
improvement across GCT B&F Strat and CT S&O and implement
solutions accordingly
Qualifications:
BA/BS required. MBA, PharmD, or other graduate experience strongly
preferred
8-10 years combined experience across related disciplines, which
can include Marketing, Sales, Access, Finance and Medical
Relevant experience in Cell Therapy and/or pharma strategy is
preferable
Strong knowledge of biopharmaceutical industry; possesses a global
understanding of end-to-end drug development and commercialization
processes
Experience working cross-functionally at senior management level
and ability to direct/guide complex business and enterprise-wide
decision-making at leadership team and above
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
and design, manage or implement multiple projects
simultaneously
Results driven, with excellent organizational, analytical, and
planning skills
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work with cross-functional, matrixed teams,
maintaining strong relationships and influencing outcomes
Effectively utilizes information technology systems and program
management tools including systems (e.g., PowerPoint, MS project,
Excel)
