Job Description:Global Markets Credit (GMC) organization is responsible for credit underwriting, ongoing monitoring and portfolio management of Global Markets (GM) financing and traded products transactions. GMC is a global organization, with over 120 staff globally, which partners directly with Global Markets FLU teams in relation to client selection, structuring and underwriting activities to drive revenue growth while maintaining appropriate risk disciplines. GMC also coordinates engagement with key control partners including Global Risk, Credit Review and Audit to accordance with our Risk Framework. Responsibilities:

  • US GMC COO lead have responsibilities for the oversight across all US based GMC portfolios partnering with GMC Global & EMEA COOs in delivering key global initiatives
    • Responsible for managing key Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR) enhancements, including the creation of a new Global Markets Margin Governance council, as part of time sensitive regulatory requirements
    • Principal point of contact for internal stakeholders across all CCR impacting initiatives, including Operations, Technology, Risk, Legal and Compliance. Manage key stakeholders across Audit, Credit Review & Regulatory teams as part of ongoing routines and governance
    • Responsible for the coordination of key US based regulatory exams partering with Regulatory Relations teams
    • Responsible for the execution of Operational Excellence initiatives, including the usage of AI, technology automation and offshore location strategies
    • Provide strategic direction and management oversight of the GMC Operating Model. Leverage key metrics to promote a strong process and control mindset across the operating environment.
    • Responsible for strategic planning across US real estate, staffing, business continuity partnering with Enterprise Credit & Global Markets COO teams
    • Provide GMC COO coverage for key GMC employee engagement and employee satisfaction programs helping to implement key people initiativesRequired Skills:
      • At least 10 years plus experience, ideally in roles with similar levels of responsibilities, with a strong track record of delivering business results
      • Proven experience in dealing with Audit, Credit Review or Regulatory matters, including overseeing regulatory exams &/or key issues
      • Recognized leadership skills through either direct management responsibilities or indirect management of resources
      • Possesses a strong commitment to excellence by anticipating needs, mitigating risks and minimizing potential problems.
      • Strong process and controls mindset, appreciation of operational risk disciplines, and experience in managing key performance metrics
      • Strategic planning skills, experience of budgets, annual staffing plans, financial forecasts &/or technology initiatives
      • At least 10 years plus experience, ideally in roles with similar levels of responsibilities, with a strong track record of delivering business results
      • Proven experience in dealing with Audit, Credit Review or Regulatory matters, including overseeing regulatory exams &/or key issues
      • Recognized leadership skills through either direct management responsibilities or indirect management of resources
      • Possesses a strong commitment to excellence by anticipating needs, mitigating risks and minimizing potential problems.
      • Strong process and controls mindset, appreciation of operational risk disciplines, and experience in managing key performance metrics
      • Strategic planning skills, experience of budgets, annual staffing plans, financial forecasts &/or technology initiatives
      • Excellent communications skills - Additional data/process visualisation tools such as Tableau and Visio would be an advantage
      • Strong command of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word & PowerPoint) and/or other data analytics software - ability to analyse large data sets, presenting complex information and make related recommendations is critical.
      • Experience in Global Markets derivatives, structured financing products, legal agreements and risk metrics such as stress testing measures a preference but not mandatory
      • Experience in credit underwriting or monitoring processes, either in a credit officer or support partner capacity also an advantage but not mandatoryShift:1st shift (United States of America)Hours Per Week:40
