postings. Audits the following departments: Gaming Operations,
Hotel Operations, Cage, Count Room, F&B, Retail, and any other
as required. Includes audit of department's paperwork to ensure
compliance with company policies and procedures in accordance with
New York State Lottery & Gaming commission regulations and all
federal / state laws. Demonstrates and provides outstanding
internal customer and employee relations at all times. Performs
other duties as assigned.
- The Revenue Audit Manager will also be responsible for ensuring
that revenue generated by all revenue centers of the property are
properly calculated and reported
- Devise and implement income audit procedures, forms,
reconciliation, variance reporting and follow up
- Select, schedule, direct, supervise, train, and develop Revenue
Audit Supervisors, Accountants, & Audit Staff
- Responsible for supervision and documentation of the Revenue
Audit in their performance of the audit procedures, job
performance, and attendance
- Ensures compliance of all department and company policies,
procedures, internal controls, and government regulations
- Attends periodic meetings and training sessions in absence of
Casino Controller.
- Ability to effectively formulate and communicate ideas
- Ability to review and evaluate the performance of the team,
allocate, coordinate and assign resources
- Mathematical and statistical aptitude
- Ensure all revenue generated by retail, non-gaming, and gaming
operations is properly recorded, reconciled, and documented
- Review journal entries, complete journal entry input/edit what
was entered in the accounting system, and approve the posting of
journal entries to the General Ledger
- Prepare, review, and/or post month-end statistical journal
entries
- Prepare the daily, weekly, and month-end gaming and non-gaming
revenue reports
- Must be able to complete job duties of Revenue Audit
Supervisors, Revenue Auditors, Staff Accountants, if necessary
- Always demonstrate and provide outstanding customer and
employee relations
- Present oneself in a neat and clean appearance at all
times
- Performs other duties as assignedJob RequirementsPhysical and
MentalAble to sit for long periods of time and ability to perform
moderate lifting of 30 lbs. or more. Ability to stand walk, bend,
stoop, lift and reach. Ability to work long and varied hours and on
shifts, weekends, holidays, and special events as needed. Must be
able to read, speak and effectively communicate ideas in English.
Must be able to think analytically, have basic math skills, and be
able to read and interpret spreadsheets. Ability to make
independent decisions and recommendations.Work/Educational
Experience
- Must be at least 21 years old, possess a high school or
equivalent diploma, and have the ability to obtain the appropriate
license pursuant to the New York State Lottery / Gaming
commission
- Associate's Degree in related field
- OR Three (3) years experience in a Supervisory position
- OR Three (3) years experience in the hiring position's
Department
- Three (3) years' related income audit work experienceEqual
