Description Rationale The role is part of the CCAR/DFAST team
within Capital Planning supporting PPNR and Risk workstreams. The
role is supporting the engagement leads in the team to coordinate
all deliverables required for the CCAR/DFAST quarterly submission
and annual exam. Job Description The Capital Planning organization
is responsible for the planning and forecasting of capital. The
team's activities are focused on all scenarios across the stress
continuum, ranging from business as usual to stress environments,
including CCAR/DFAST, Recovery and Resolution.-- Our capabilities
include accurately forecasting capital capacity and ratios and
related measures, coordinating associated regulatory submissions;
and improving the systems and processes used to perform these
activities. This role will be part of the team which has been
established to support the CCAR/DFAST workstreams. The role is
responsible for managing the CCAR/DFAST forecasting processes,
coordinating the compilation of critical inputs to CCAR/DFAST
submissions, by engaging with CCAR/DFAST workstreams (particularly
PPNR, Wholesale Risk and Retail Risk) on a regular basis to ensure
they understand and can meet the deliverables required, and
identifying needed improvements with Finance, Risk and technology
partners.-- The role also provides support as a subject matter
expert for CCAR/DFAST. The position will report to the Workstream
Engagement lead, who is responsible for managing the CCAR
Production process for these workstreams, monitoring the control
environment, and identifying needed enhancements. This role
requires an individual who can work on multiple, simultaneous
deliverables and will focus upon communication and high-profile
initiatives, with the following key responsibilities:
- Manage the execution of the CCAR production process, with a
focus PPNR and Risk workstreams; Facilitate regular check-in
meetings with the workstreams; track progress on all open
deliverables
- Provide workstreams with support during production cycle,
reviewing methodology documents
- Act as a liaison between workstreams and other functions such
as Model Risk Management and Internal Audit. Support preparation of
executive/management level reporting
- Understand and monitor the controls over the CCAR production
process for designated workstreams
- Identify and escalate the need for process, execution and
control enhancements
- Provide regular updates to Managing Director of CCAR Execution
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related
field, MBA is a plus
- 10+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services
industry highly preferred
- Requires a comprehensive knowledge of multiple areas within a
function and how they interact in order to achieve the goals of the
function.
- Requires communication and diplomacy skills in order to guide
and influence others.
- Experience and demonstrated ability to manage competing
priorities in a complex and dynamic environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to make decisions in the
absence of detailed instructions.
- Proficient Microsoft Office skills
- In depth knowledge of banking products / systems highly
preferred.
- Extensive experience in a senior role as part of a Central CCAR
team, preferably at a GSIB
- The ability to work collaboratively both within and outside of
Capital Planning, particularly with Risk, Finance and
Technology
- Strong written communication skills and process reengineering
experience
- Ability to multi-task and coordinate multiple assignments and
projects.--
- Familiarity with financial services regulatory environment and
capital planning supervisory expectations
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office - particularly
PowerPoint (presentation decks), Word (business writing) and Excel
(metrics and data analysis) Additional Skills Required

- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while
multitasking and meeting strict deadlines.
- Very strong project management skills; able to quickly
