  YOUR IMPACT
  In your role on the risk management team for the US-based partnership cards business, you will be responsible for the design, development and execution of a comprehensive solutions related to Collections strategy and supporting monitoring and analytics. The ideal candidate will be able to analyze key portfolio trends in area of Collections and build supporting analytics and strategies to optimize risk-return. The candidate must be able to collaborate and influence across divisions and have experience working with Credit Policy, Credit Forecasting, internal and external governance teams across the business including Customer Operations, Financial Crimes (AML), Compliance, Decision Sciences and Technology.

  JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage collections risk strategy for multiple credit card products to minimize losses for the business with a focus on contact channels
    
  • Design and optimize alternate channel strategies for SMS, push notifications, chat, direct mail, website and app for all consumer products
    
  • Develop appropriate test, pilot, and roll-out decisions for new and changed strategies leveraging quantitative and qualitative decision-making
    
  • Build data-based decision-making for optimal risk strategies that maximize the net present value to the firm, focusing on reducing losses and operating expense, while maximizing customer value
    
    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
    
    • 
      
    • 5+ years of prior experience working for a financial services company in risk management
      
    • Knowledge of collections and recoveries regulatory requirements
      
    • Proficiency in Pyspark, R or Python, SQL
      
    • Advanced analytical/quantitative and deductive reasoning skills
      
    • Ability to design, build out, and optimize channel marketing that both lower losses and maximize customer experience, while helping to build models that predict the effectiveness of individual channels
      
    • Ability to design risk-based segmentation to meet individual customer preferences for outbound and inbound communication
      
    • Experience in design and execution of a credit testing strategy, model implementation and risk-based scoring framework
      
    • Hands on, self-motivated, quick-learner, assertive and well organized
      
    • Attention to details and excellent oral and written communication skills
