Compensation: $110,000 - $145,000+ annually based upon qualifications and experience



OVERVIEW:

We are partnered with the leader in national passenger rail travel and seeking a highly qualified Facilities Development Manager. This role will involve supporting 3-4 stations with ongoing facilities and space planning projects. Role will have some remote flexibility but will also require travel to regional offices and stations. Ideal candidates will have experience doing similar work in settings such as: educational campuses, hospital / healthcare facilities, financial institutions, etc.



SUMMARY OF DUTIES:


  • Responsible for managing employee occupied Corporate Office locations in the assigned location and providing comprehensive facilities management services to all management and employees at these locations, which encompasses approximately 1.5 million square feet of office space.

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:


    • Space Planning and Interior Design
    • Performs needs assessments for determining actual facilities and space characteristics
    • On Site contact for Internal/External Stakeholders for Interior Space needs
    • Develops space utilization recommendations and solutions
    • Project Management (coordinate stakeholders needs, A/E teams, GC)
    • Construction management (small interior projects)
    • Specification and procurement of FF&E vendor (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment)
    • Furniture Installation
    • Maintain updated records of employee population at each location.
    • Portfolio management of both company owned and leased office space.
    • Identify requirements, negotiate required acquisitions, dispositions, lease options, documents as -required.
    • Compliance review - Engineering, HVAC, MEP, ADA and Life Safety codes and regulations.
    • Maintain corporate office space standards program to ensure compliance, maintenance of -consistent operating cost at each location.
    • Coordinate relocation of voice and data systems within Client.
    • Supervision of architectural, design engineering, contractor and union management and personnel.
    • Capital and expense planning, review and payment processing.
    • Interface with all levels of Client management, Departments, landlords, tenants, and owners.
    • Provide routine facilities management services.
    • Perform special projects as required.

      MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:


      • Bachelor's Degree (Architecture, Interior Design, Construction, Facilities) or equivalent combination -of education, training and/or related experience.
      • 5+ years of relevant experience required.
      • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills sufficient to work in multi disciplined groups to -achieve desired results.
      • Ability to work under tight time constraints, pressure and multiple priorities.
      • Strong skills in managing multiple projects, organization, time management, project management, -teamwork, communications, adaptability, decision making, customer focus, results orientation, and -the ability to meet priorities and deadlines.
      • Familiarity with CAFM/IWMS, AutoCAD, Adobe PDF, Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Excel, Word, -PowerPoint, and Project).
      • Ability to travel approximately 10 20%.

        PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


        • Master's Degree in a related field.
        • 9+ years of relevant experience preferred.

          COMMUNICATIONS AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:


          • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
