Our client is a leading Energy Services Company that reduces the energy and water consumption of their customers through building upgrades and on-going Energy Management Services. They offer Guaranteed Energy Savings projects that create a fully integrated end-to-end service backed by a performance-based contract. This company manages the upgrade from start to finish and offers a range of funding options. They offer Building Automation Systems in new builds and retrofits as well as support services that include maintenance, reporting, monitoring and utility bill management. The company offer's it's clients a unique Services Agreement, where cost savings are achieved by reducing building energy consumption and they are shared between the customer and the Company who funds the necessary building upgrades upfront without needing any capital or debt from the client. So the client gets cost savings AND millions of dollars in building upgrades without putting any money of their own.We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our Clients New York City team. This individual will take ownership and full responsibility of coordination and delivery of multiple, simultaneous Building Automation projects of various complexities. The Project Manager has fiscal responsibility for all project facets, including project billing, job cost reporting, and overall customer satisfaction, creative solutions, and thorough and comprehensive problem-solving abilities.
RESPONSIBILITIES:--- Manage projects following project processes, coordinating work activities with application engineers, system specialists and subcontractors--- Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction--- Responsible for the overall financial performance of assigned projects including project planning, progress billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects.--- Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope--- Material management through Quality Control process, engineering review and material procurement. Coordinate project materials with subcontractors and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues--- Manage relationships with sub-contractors through contract procurement, project planning and coordination of work activities, identifying issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any project issues
Qualifications--- PMP certification preferred--- College degree preferred--- AA/AS degree with 5+ years relevant experience--- BA/BS degree with 3+ years relevant experienceExperience and Skills--- Prior experience in Construction, HVAC and/or Building Automation is a must--- Working knowledge of MS Visio, Adobe PDF, Bluebeam REVU or other CAD and MEP software--- Proficient in understanding MEP and Building plans, Automation service provider requirements, scope of work etc.--- General knowledge of employment laws and practices--- Demonstrated knowledge of project financial reporting--- Automated Logic and WEBCTRL experience preferred, other automation systems will be considered--- Three years Building Automation and HVAC Controls experience preferred--- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project and other Windows products--- Strong written and verbal communication skills--- Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills
