D.E.Shaw Renewable Investments ("DESRI") seeks a resourceful
individual to join its Finance & Acquisitions team as a director.
DESRI is a market-leading owner and operator of renewable energy
projects across the United States that acquires, develops, owns,
operates, or has contracted more than 6 gigawatts of capacity among
a portfolio of over 60 renewable energy projects. The role offers

day-to-dayYou'll be responsible for portfolio management activities
for DESRI's in-construction and operating assets, including but not
limited to financial monitoring/reporting, term conversions, tax
equity fundings, re-financings, and tax equity buyouts. You will
also manage relationships and financial reporting with construction
and term lenders (including administrative and collateral agents),
as well as tax equity investors. Additionally, you'll be
responsible for taking the lead in implementing goals related to
improving financial performance of renewable projects in DESRI's
portfolio and working with DESRI's Asset Management team on project
optimization, as well as implementing new financing structures.
Who we're looking for
- Candidates should have a minimum of six years of experience,
including experience in project finance debt and tax equity.
Experience in the financing of renewable energy assets is
required.
- Applicants should have a good understanding of energy capital
markets, as well as a keen analytical skill set.
- A record of academic and professional achievement,
well-developed communication skills, the ability to collaborate
well with a small team, proven organizational acumen when working
on multiple projects, and a high level of motivation are all vital
to this role.
- The expected annual base salary range for this position is
$150,000 to $200,000. Our compensation and benefits package
includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus,
guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits, including
