SummaryThe Associate Development Manager (ADM) assists in the
execution of development management tasks within the project. The
ADM responds to requests from Development Managers, Senior
Development Managers, General Managers and the wider Development
team to assist in a wide range of keys tasks including the
development and management of briefs, management of consultants,
preparation and management of development program and budgets and
various assigned tasks.Essential Job Functions, Duties and
ResponsibilitiesThe following statements are intended to describe

personnel so classified.Strategic
- Assist with identifying and securing medium to high density
residential & mixed use development opportunities
- Develop a network of real estate contacts
- Research new opportunities, evaluating the acquisition of new
development opportunities Operational
- Developing Brief Documentation for Masterplan and Public Realm
areas
- Working through Public Realm design / scope / budget
- Monitoring and updating the project program
- Providing support to the manage contracts for the development
team
- Assess development opportunities against business
strategies
- Assist with preparing feasibility analysis reports
- Prepare opportunity specific research to assist product price
assumptions submissions and associated documentation as required
for corporate approval
- Assist with preparation of internal investment papers
- Work with development team to assess site opportunity and
feasibility
- Assist agents and consultants during acquisition process Safety
- Ensure Development Global Minimum Requirements (GMRs) are
complied with Project Reporting
- Assist the Development Manager to:
- Establish and manage overall Commercial Assessment
- Project Control Group or other internal reports, as
required
- Maintain overall project reporting requirements Design
- Assist the Development Manager to:
- Develop Project Briefs for project
- Attend Design meetings, as required
- Coordinate with development managers and project managers in
the carriage of their tasks and responsibilities Program
- Assist the Development Manager to:
- Prepare and manage the development program Marketing/Leasing
Commercial
- Assist the Development Manager to:
- Coordinate activities of Leasing Agents in relation to unleased
space
- Coordinate with Marketing and Leasing Agents the preparation of
Project Marketing and Leasing Materials
- Coordinate the organization of project Launches, special events
and Team days Human Capital
- Foster a creative, questioning but disciplined environment with
a value-add culture Other
- Complete other ad hoc tasks and duties as requested General
Background and Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree related to property, valuation, real estate,
economics, design, business or similar.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the property development
industry
- Previous experience in high density residential/mix-use
development preferred
- Valuation or Real Estate agency experience helpful; experience
with entitlements desirable
- Sound understanding of property industry fundamentals and
project feasibility analysis
- Strong financial modeling skills using excel
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to undertake and analyze strategic and targeted
research
- Highly motivated and keen to learn
- Encourages both external and internal teamwork and
collaboration. Involves stakeholders, experts & other teams to
achieve desired outcomes
- Ability to analyze information & identify innovative and
effective solutions to problems
- Ability to consider the key business drivers of the project &
the organization, understanding the implications of decisions and
actions
- Strong relationship building skills with the ability to
effectively influence and motivate others Base Salary Range:
$133,000 - $167,000The above salary range represents Lendlease's
good faith and reasonable estimate of the possible base
compensation range at the time of posting and is one part of the
