We are looking for a Senior Regional Construction Manager with extensive single-family residential experience. You will oversee the day-to-day construction operations of our portfolio of Welcome Homes, ensuring the build quality is up to our incredibly high standards. The operations include coordinating the activities of construction projects to warranty fulfillment, coordinating across builders, and ensuring timelines and schedules are met. If you have experience managing construction projects and have tech acumen, we want to hear from you! What you'll be doing:

• Oversee general contractors signed up with Welcome in Connecticut, New Jersey and New York
  • Host kick-off meetings with each general contractor for each build
  • Interpret and explain contracts and technical information to builders during construction
  • Supervise and lead regional construction manager (RCM)
  • Coordinate required inspections, etc.
  • Lead the construction of semi-custom home builds from beginning to end in conjunction with RCM
    • Visit active jobs weekly to ensure general contractors are on schedule and report status -
    • Monitor site safety
    • Monitor erosion and settlement best management practices
    • Monitor site cleanliness
    • Complete milestone checklists for each active project
    • Report weekly status and milestone checklist completion to Welcome
    • Communicate RFI's or field changes to Welcome and relay responses to general contractors
    • Ensure compliance with legal requirements, safety codes, and other state and local regulations
    • Coordinate ordering and material delivery for each build based on project selections
    • Deliver a home that exceeds the customers' expectations
    • Lead on-site walkthroughs with customers What you'll need:
      • Proven work as a superintendent or construction manager having overseen in excess of eight year's experience in single-family home builds
      • Proven experience as a manager and operator overseeing and growing a team
      • An understanding of construction methods and technologies and can interpret contracts and technical drawings
      • Strong communication skills
      • Strong leadership and collaboration with architects and engineers
      • Experienced-based ability to predict problems and provide solutions in the field
      • Excellent customer service and communication skills, client-obsessed, ability to deliver results
      • Excels working in a fast-paced start-up environment - this is nothing like working at a traditional construction firm
