Job Description:
This position reports to the CRM Global Product Manager within
the Omni Digital Client team. This team delivers exceptional client
experiences across all channels, ensuring staff are equipped with
the right tools and expertise to consistently deliver a stellar
client experience and support the Omni-channel offerings of a
luxury retailer. Come work with us!
The position will focus on using Marketing Cloud to drive towards
the following business goals: accelerate business growth, elevate
brand desirability, enable operational efficiencies, and
rationalize data usage where appropriate. The ideal candidate is
naturally curious, collaborative, pragmatic, and an effective
communicator. Additionally, this role will use industry best
practices to drive the implementation and adoption of Marketing
Cloud across various business units. This role will partner closely
with the Global Client Development, Marketing, Retail, Client Care
Centers, Legal, IT (Information Technology) and regional leads.
You will be responsible for thinking through SFMC business use
cases, how they will activate across digital channels and client
touchpoints, the client and internal user experience, launching new
capabilities (including business/functional requirement definition,
UAT (User Acceptance Testing), etc.), and scaling programs related
to Marketing Cloud to meet business goals.
Key Accountabilities
- Serving as the point of contact for all SFMC requests/needs;
responsible for handling requests from (global & regional)
cross-functional teams, assessing the associated effort,
dependencies and impact at a mico-level and providing a global,
macro-perspective to strategically prioritize use cases/needs
(15%)
- Developing and maintaining a roadmap that is in line with
strategic goals and displays all upcoming Marketing Cloud
implementations/updates; Owning the development of a product
delivery strategy that meets delivery timelines and keeps relevant
partners aware of future changes (20%)
- Facilitating the design and/or build of integrations between
Marketing Cloud and 3rd party applications or data sources
(5%)
- Communicating project concepts and outcomes to client project
collaborators (15%)
- Conducting user training and actively promote user adoption of
Marketing Cloud (15%)
- Proactively seek out and identifying needed system changes to
optimize and maintain platform; Manage new releases of SFMC and
efficiently roll out new features (15%)
- Partnering with engineering teams in resolving issues with
production applications and work with users on training and
adoption (5%)
- Contributing to internal process improvements and evolution
toward modern software development practices (10%)
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 5+ years professional experience designing and delivering
software implementation in complex environments
- 2+ years of experience working hands-on in Marketing Cloud
implementations, ideally involving integrations with Salesforce's
core and other platforms
- Hands-on experience with the platform, the platform's
reporting, and configuration
- Ability to work with clients to design customer journeys, and
associated data models.
- Experienced in requirement intake and prioritization
techniques, some design thinking and both physical and remote
workshop animation knowledge
- Solid understanding of omnichannel/retail standard
methodologies and displays business strategy thought
leadership
- Ability to clearly communicate strategic direction and build
enthusiasm in technology team for delivering truly exceptional
technology enabled experiences
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, partnership and influence
management skills
- Superb project management expertise including excellent
multi-tasking, prioritization, and organization skills
- Strong detail orientation with ability to see / maintain
strategic perspective
- Knowledge of the luxury and retail industries, key market
trends and competition is a plus
- Ability to travel internationally
Preferred Qualifications:
- Extensive experience with Marketing Cloud Studios & Builders,
most importantly Email Studio, Content Builder, Journey Builder and
Automation Studio
- Experience with Salesforce CRM (Sales & Service Cloud)
- Exposed to agile methodologies
The hiring range for this position ranges from $129,625 --
$145,000. The rate of pay offered will be dependent upon
candidates' relevant skills and experience. Management is also
eligible for bonus.
