About the Job:
As the Manager, People Systems, you will support and administer key HR tools and act as a subject matter expert for all things Workday. In partnership with the broader RTR People Team, you will support automated HR processes through Workday, such as the Annual Benefits Open Enrollment and Annual Compensation Merit Review programs. You will also explore and implement new automated solutions to previously manual existing processes. You will be a key member of the People Operations Data & Systems function, whose mission is to empower stakeholders to connect strategic goals with data-driven people processes and seamless systems across the employee lifecycle.
This can be a fully remote position and is eligible for hire in one of the following qualifying states: New York, New Jersey, Texas are preferred. Other eligible states include Washington, D.C., Massachusetts, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Virginia, Florida, Tennessee, Kansas.
What You'll Do:


  • Manage the day-to-day activities of RTR's Workday HRIS
  • Identify and understand current and future state of functional business processes
  • Analyze, develop, test, and deploy security specific to Workday to meet business requirements
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity by performing regular audits, developing best practices, and maintaining relevant documentation
  • Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation for Workday users to better promote the consistent use and data integrity of the system, as well as to help facilitate the HR processes that Workday touches.
  • Analyzing Workday release updates to understand impacts of feature changes, in relation to existing security.
  • Work directly with key business stakeholders and our outside consultants to gather requirements, design, consider design alternatives, facilitate discussions, and provide out of the box solutions
  • Utilize Advanced Workday report writing experience, to modify delivered reports and partner with the People Data Analyst to create custom reports, including composite reports, matrix reports, BIRT and dashboards, which meet customer needs.
  • Demonstrate an ability to leverage calculated fields and an understanding of Workday's data architecture and business object model to recommend the most efficient solutions
  • Troubleshoot report related issues in a timely manner, while providing solutions that support the company's vision and mission
  • Create customized Workday reports for management and HR system users which provide insights into key headcount, staffing and compensation metrics.
  • Support Workday's integration with current or future 3rd Party systems, such as Greenhouse and Shareworks.

    • You are a professional with 4-6 years of HRIS experience (and at least 3 years experience supporting a Workday environment) who is looking to apply your expertise in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

        The anticipated base salary for this position is $115,200 to $144,000. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held. This position is also eligible for equity compensation.
