Core Responsibilities
- Project planning, tracking & management including:
independently support the development and maintenance of the
project work plan and revisions as appropriate to meet changing
needs and requirements.
- Develop and maintain the project plan; activities, tasks,
dependencies, assignments, and schedule.
- Lead for multiple programs and projects and manages the
regional management team.
- Provides status to key stakeholders, oversees budgets and
schedules and responsible for brining projects and programs to
successful and efficient close out.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
- Manage specific programs across all regions (e.g. status
reports, budget & schedules variances data, resource data,
financial data, issues, change requests, risk. etc.).
- Review and approve project plan for conformance to program
strategy and schedule.
- Leads the development of project schedules.
- Develop and manage detailed timeline to meet deliverable
dates.
- Maintain inter and intra departmental communications to assure
timely completion to all tasks/projects and employee
development.
- Risk and Scope Management: Implement Risk and Change Management
Processes, track and resolve, or escalate, issues, risks, and
change requests. Escalate outcomes to executive sponsor as
necessary.
- Chair and participate in work product and deliverable
definition and Quality Control.
- Manage and participate in the approval process for work
products and deliverables.
- Act as the communications conduit to the executive sponsors and
executive committees and conducts periodic briefings/updates.
- Management and direction of assigned staff.
- Raises issues to be resolved, facilities and tracks
resolution.
- Demonstrate core business skills and specialized knowledge that
will advance PMO's objectives, and contributes to the department's
project goals.
- Responsible for performing other related assignments as
required including representing the Company at project
meetings.
- Perform other related tasks and assignments as required.
Required Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree related field and 10 years Relevant work
experience or
- Master's Degree related field and 6 years Program Management
experience Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree related field and 15 years Relevant work
experience Relevant Work Experience
- More than 10 years Must have experience in the design,
construction, and/or commissioning of capital projects.
Required
- More than 10 years Must have experience in directing project
planning, budgeting and establishing critical project objectives.
Required
- More than 10 years Demonstrate the ability to manage projects
with multiple sub-projects, each a project unto itself.
Required
- More than 10 years Strong knowledge of the business operations
in the areas of engineering and design, construction, purchasing,
scheduling, logistics, and cost control. Required
- More than 10 years Excel at leading project teams to deliver
results. Required
- More than 10 years Strong knowledge of the business operations
of Electric Operations. Required
- More than 10 years Must possess solid Project Management and
Technical Leadership skills and is a self-starter. Required
- More than 10 years Excellent oral and written communication
skills and must be able to interface with company forces,
contractors, executives, engineers, public officials, and other
outside agencies. Required
- More than 10 years Must demonstrate experience in budgeting,
scheduling, and ensuring quality of all project elements including
ability to manage complex projects with multiple sub-projects.

- More than 10 years Must demonstrate awareness of the stages
that a project goes through and the problems that surface during
the executive of the project initiatives. Required
- More than 10 years Possess strong computer skills and working
knowledge of Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio, and MS Office

- More than 10 years Experience with Business Process Modeling.

Outlook and PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Physical Demands
- Must push, pull, lift up to 25 pounds
- Must sit or stand to answer a phone for entire shift
- Must sit or stand to use a keyboard, mouse, and computer for
entire shift
- Must be able to read small print and symbols. Other Physical

- Must be able to respond to Company emergencies by performing a
System Emergency Assignment to restore service to our
customers.
