Job Description:

Hybrid, or In-Office. Open leave policy. The Strategic Account
Manager is responsible for the overall success, retention, and
growth of Industry Dive's content marketing customers. Working
primarily with one of Industry Dive's key accounts, the Strategic
Account Manager is responsible for the direction of the content
program as a whole and will act as a trusted partner to clients to
help them achieve their content marketing objectives and lead
generation goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate experience
in content marketing and lead generation, and a working knowledge
of marketing analytics, digital marketing, media and ad operations,
email marketing, etc. This person will also have experience working
with B2B technology and/or financial services brands in a marketing
capacity. The Strategic Account Manager:
- is the primary success owner for assigned customers
- is the primary point of collaboration for internal teams -
- Partners with clients (at different levels of seniority,
including leadership) and consults on content marketing and lead
generation strategy, content marketing best practices, and ongoing
content marketing program optimization -
- Applies Industry Dive methodology and process to customer
partnerships -
- Effectively builds relationships with leadership at customer
organizations
- Delivers overall business results for area of responsibility,
managing risk and opportunity
- Drive retention and growth for key accountResponsibilities:
- Owns the successful delivery of purchased services, manages
client expectations and resolves escalated client issues
- Demonstrates a deep understanding of all the principles of
content marketing and lead generation
- Establishes productive, professional relationships with key
personnel in assigned customer account -
- Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer needs
on an ongoing basis -
- Enlists the support of sales specialists, technical services
resources, editorial service resources, and other company resources
as needed
- Closely coordinates company executive involvement with customer
management
- Works cross-functionally with content strategist, ad
operations, sales and leadership teams to ensure retention and
growth in assigned accountAccountabilities and performance
measures:
- Achieves growth, customer maturity and content marketing
performance objectives in designated key account -
- Achieves strategic customer objectives and success as defined
by the customer in collaboration with Industry DiveOrganization

- Reports to AVP of Program ManagementQualifications:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills -
- Experience with strategic thinking and complex decision making

- 5-8 years of experience in a digital marketing agency and/or
