Job Description:
The Account Manager assists in the coordination of carrier
relationships on behalf of the firm by leading the service team on
large accounts as assigned including coordination of key services
and development of initial placement/renewal strategy.POSITION

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for assisting in establishing and maintaining
appropriate carrier relationships
- Responsible for marketing large accounts as assigned
- Responsible for risk mapping or peer reviewing risk maps for
accounts as assigned
- Responsible for coordinating service delivery for accounts as
assigned including developing initial placement/renewal
strategy
- Completes special projects as assigned
- Continually seeks opportunities to improve the firm, business
segment and processes. Bring issues and discrepancies to
appropriate leadership
- Serves as a mentor to colleagues as requestedEDUCATION AND
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience (years and type of experience): 3-5 years of related
insurance experience or associated industry experience required;
3-5 years of related insurance experience or associated industry
experience required preferred
- Certification(s): None required; None preferred
- License(s): Maintains all licenses as required by the State
Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and
financial risk transfer solutions in states where the firm
functions or be willing and able to obtain all required licenses
within the first 90 days of employment required; Maintains all

employment preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Ability to forge relationships with key insurance markets and
carrier representatives
- Strong technical knowledge of general insurance market
conditions and specific insurance carrier underwriting
appetites
- Ability to analyze complex risk exposures, existing insurance
coverages, and develop appropriate recommendations for clients and
prospects
- Ability to work as part of a team of professionals and build
relationships with other Firm business segments
- Demonstrates the organization's core values, exuding behavior
that is aligned with the firm's cultureTECHNICAL, COMPUTER, AND
SYSTEM-SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook)
- Ability to learn any other appropriate program or software
