2023-04-30A Brief Job Description:We have a wonderful opportunity
for a Program Manager I or II - Community Based in Syracuse,
NY.Full time position - 40 hours per week Monday to Friday
8:30am-4:30pm.Healthy Families New York (HFNY), a Healthy Families
America (HFA) accredited home visiting program, seeks to improve
the health and well-being of infants and children through
home-based services.As a Program Manager, you will be responsible
for the overall leadership and management of program operations,
including the delivery of quality services. You will coach and
mentor the team in order to meet the needs of clients. Also, you
will be responsible for the efficiency of the day to day operations
of the program including scheduling staff, hiring, training,
regulatory compliance (OCFS, OPWDD, OMH, JJS, COA, CMS, etc.,), and
safety of youth, families and staff. The Program Manager supports
HFA's Philosophy of Service and works to remove systemic barriers
to ensure its implementation.Essential functions of this job
include, but are not limited to:
- Ensures all aspects of service delivery to families are
implemented and executed according to the HFNY home visiting
model
- Work with Data Integration Specialist to monitor HFNY database
and complete quarterly and annual reports
- Consistent with HFNY trainings, trains all direct staff in
infant and child development at onboarding and at monthly group
sessions
- Facilitates community partnerships and participation in
family/community events and support groups.
- Develop and implement systems of accountability for both teams
and individuals
- Perform the infant mental health consultant function required
for model fidelity
- Responsible for administrative oversight and fiscal management
of the project
- Communicates and supports the Hillside's mission, vision,
values, goals, and strategies to everyday work
- Establishes clear, meaningful, challenging, and attainable
objectives and expectations that are aligned with those of the
organizationRequirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a human services related area of study.
Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of human services and of supervisor/manager
experience
- A valid driver's license and meet agency driving standards
- Experience with services that embrace the concepts of
family-centered and strength-based, along with providing services
to culturally-diverse communities and families
- Experience in home visitation with a strong background in
prevention services to those 0-3 years of ageHillside -is committed
