Job Description:

A private equity firm in New York City is currently seeking an experienced HR professional to join their staff as their new Senior Human Resources Manager. In this role, the Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day HR functions as well as being the contact point for any global HR-related issues, when needed.

Responsibilities:

The Senior Human Resources Manager will be responsible for:

• Talent management and performance review strategy and process
• Integration and onboarding of new employees
• Handling culture and employee engagement locally; coordinating with Global Head of HR and COO accordingly
• Leading HR communications for local offices
• Assisting with local recruitment for support staff and junior levels
• Identifying L&D areas and developing offerings
• Assisting with HR compliance and regulatory needs
• Assisting with payroll & benefits
• Managing HRIS, ATS systems, etc.
• Performing other duties, as neededQualifications:
  • 5+ years of Human Resources experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources and/or a related field
  • Working knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficient
  • Solid problem solving and time management skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized
  • Able to multitask efficiently and effectivelyDesired Skills:
    • Working knowledge of HRIS
