- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development,
Organizational Psychology or related field, Master's degree
preferred
- 10+ years of experience in a training and development,
organizational development and/or leadership development
capacity
- Experience in private industry/operating environment
preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience working with senior site
leadership teams
- Experience in structuring organizational approach to talent
development strategies and programs from inception through
implementation
- Experience partnering with all levels of the leadership team to
align development programs with corporate goals
- Hands-on experience with project management and budgeting
- Proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Proficiency in developing and delivering content remotely
(digital capability)
- Excellent communication and leadership skillsPOSITION
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead development and implementation of talent management and
leadership development strategies for the company
- Identify key managerial and leadership skills needed for future
success
- Develop and implement programs to identify, develop and
motivate high potential employees and future leaders of the
company
- Use performance reviews, skills gap analyses and other needs
assessment tools to identify talent needs per department, team and
individual
- Assess gaps in talent needs, and develop training and
development programs to fill those gaps
- Conduct training programs, including content development and
instructional design
- Manage talent development and training budgets
- Evaluate results of learning courses
- Implement coaching sessions and mentorship programs to improve
managerial effectiveness and establish a culture of continuous
learning
- Evaluate individual and organizational performance to ensure
training is meeting business needs and improving performance
- Work with management across all levels of the organization to
identify key behaviors that can influence business outcomes
- Provide the leadership team with resources and tools that can
help in goal setting, action planning, communication and ensuring
accountability
- Identify and manage third party service providers as necessary
to provide individual and team coaching and skills training
