Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Project Manager, Cloud Technologies for a Contract assignment with one of our premier Sports Media clients in New York, NY

Project Manager, Cloud Technologies

As a Project/Program Manager you will work with the Core Technology team, responsible for leading cross-team Cloud programs and projects, building the agile portfoliomanagement discipline, and striving toward building a Cloud Center of Excellence through effective process management. This role will report into the IT PMO

The ideal candidate will be expected to leverage their Agile delivery experience, specifically use of Kanban style boards. This individual must be confident leading and orchestrating diverse technical teams while simultaneously partnering with AWSto successfully meet product roadmaps in accordance with time, cost, operational, and compliance constraints.

Responsibilities:

Manage Cloud delivery programs, using Agile methodologies, focus on Kanban style boards
Lifecycle of code and app releases, from R&D to development to QA/UAT to release and maintenance
Drive collaboration and communication necessary to ensure delivery success, including successful management of risk and dependencies
Act as the point of escalation for risks, issues, and obstacles, ensuring these are driven to resolution in a timely manner
Resolve issues, dependencies, and conflicts; ensure that all team members are involved and engagedin this process
Promote on-time delivery on commitments to goals and produce consistently excellent results
Partner with leadership to develop, deploy, and govern Agile delivery standards and best practices

Qualifications:

Agile/Scrum: Minimum of 5 years experience
Program / Project Management: Minimum of 8 years experience
Cloud Environment (AWS / Azure): Minimum of 3 years experience
Commercial B2B Project: Minimum of 3 years experience
Proficient in Office 365: SharePoint, Excel & PowerPoint: Must have a mastery

Required Certifications:

PMI-ACP
PMP
CSM is preferred
