Marketing Specialist/Assistant Manager

Global leader in the Beauty/Cosmetics industry.
[Job Summary]
Responsible for one brand in our portfolio within our US marketing activities that include managing local product launch and promotional calendar across all channels of distribution, supporting marketing operations and execution of 360 - trade marketing programs. Support brand-awareness building initiatives in collaboration with PR & social media teams, and interacts with all key internal and external stakeholders including retail partners.
[Job Description]
- Support to develop and execute annual and seasonal marketing calendar in conjunction with sales department and channel teams that detail product launches, promotional activities, sampling initiatives and collateral support
- Closely work with Korean based HQ on local market needs and support, ensuring timeline of product development, copy, global assets for new products; and confirmation of new product pricing/cost/forecasts
- Conduct sales and data analysis to build business strategy and recommendation on product portfolio optimization
- Collaborate with Digital team to continuously improve brand site experience and performance.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning to track production schedule and on-going inventory.
- Manage annual and quarterly promotion plan including sampling & GWP for all channels
- Partner with cross functional team members to ensure successful plan and execution of local marketing plan
- Liaise with PR team on communication priorities and alignment with brand strategy
- Develop plan for store events including event tool kit and partner with education team on activation protocols
- Partner with education team to develop brand and product training tools, event protocols, and education collateral
- Closely work with HQ, design agency, and graphic designer to develop Visual Merchandising for new store openings, renovation, and new launches
- Assist to plan and reconcile marketing budgets
- Create creative results to track projects and brief designer on creative projects
- Research and analyze market trends, competitive launches and activities
- Prepare and develop marketing meeting decks and go-to-market kit
[Qualifications]
Qualification and Experience
- Experience in beauty marketing preferred (a minimum of 2 years)
- Bachelor or higher degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related subject
- Experience in marketing operations, brand communications and launch support execution
- Knowledge of advertising and promotion
- Understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
