WHO'S IN THE KITCHEN The Workplace Experience manager is responsible for elevating the office experience across all of our Blue Apron locations. They are passionate about creating an environment that allows employees to do their best work by being productive and collaborative, while also embracing our fun and inclusive culture. The Workplace Experience manager will be responsible for the administrative and operational functions of the offices to ensure our employees' needs are met.

This role is onsite and will be split between our Linden, New Jersey fulfillment center and our corporate office in lower Manhattan.
Will be responsible for organizing and coordinating administrative and office procedures for our Corporate locations in New York and Austin. Your role is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensure employees' office needs are met, and provide a high level of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety.
WHAT'S ON THE MENU

  • Gatekeeper for quality standards for employees and guests to maintain a clean and organized appearance of our offices; Oversee and support all administrative responsibilities to ensure smooth operations in our corporate locations
  • Manage and oversee office budget, including corporate offices and fulfillment centers; Manage, audit, review and identify key vendor relationships, constantly evaluating existing contracts and identify opportunities for cost-savings
  • Serve as the primary contact for building management, ensure continuous function of building systems, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and fire/life safety
  • Oversee our in-office snack and beverage program across all locations ensuring similar offerings; Oversee the repair, service, and functionality of office equipment; Maintain organizational systems for receiving packages, mail distribution, storage, conference room management
  • Drive strategic space planning, utilization, and management; Manage seating charts, develop plans for projected headcount, and assist with regular internal team seating shuffles
  • Maintain inventory of all office related items (both on-site and off-site), including, but not limited to furniture, office equipment, appliances, and office and janitorial supplies
  • Partner with corporate Security team to develop and maintain security and fire protection protocols, including evacuation plans, security operation manuals, accident and incident reports, fire and natural disaster plans, office closures due to inclement weather, and related materials
  • Create and maintain calendar of in-office events and experiences; "surprise and delight" moments; cultural celebration NECESSARY INGREDIENTS Bachelor degree preferred- experience in administrative background required if no degree receptionist, office/admin assistant, etc.) Years of experience 3-5, management experience 0-1 Team player who is customer service driven with exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills Able to work with a sense of urgency and has an extraordinary attention to detail Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously Exceptional self-starter who can take initiative and power through ambiguity by problem solving Proficiency in Mac and Microsoft Office applications, G-Suite and Slack Ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs Able to work a flexible schedule, as needed
