  About the Senior Finance Manager Role: Position Summary
  The Senior Manager, Finance and Operations, works closely with the Chief Financial Officer by managing the day-to-day finance and accounting activities, including contracts, project tracking, billing, and creation of financial reports; as well overseeing timeliness and accuracy of financial documents. Additionally this role will manage office and operations functions of the firm as well.
  Responsibilities of The Senior Finance Manager
  
  • Collaborate with appropriate staff on all aspects of client and affiliate contract preparation, finalization, and tracking.
    
  • Administer set up of all new projects including database entry, review of contracts and budgets, manage modifications, set up billing schedules and filing.
    
  • Assist project managers with managing budgets and provide monthly Project Status reports.
    
  • Project budget variance analysis and reconciliation.
    
  • Prepare client invoices, obtain approvals, and send to clients.
    
  • Post accounts receivable collections and follow up with clients on past due accounts.
    
  • Supervise the posting and payment of accounts payable invoices.
    
  • Account analysis and reporting, as well as special projects.
    
    • Supervise and mentor Finance Assistant and Firmwide Administrative Assistant.
      
      Qualifications of The Senior Finance Manager:
      
      • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, or related field.
        
      • Experience working in a professional services firm/organization.
        
      • Client and vendor management experience
        
      • Deltek (Vantagepoint or Vision) would be a plus
