What does a Director, Regulatory Compliance, GBS do?The Director,
Regulatory Compliance is the subject matter expert on compliance to
regulations for GBS and associated legal entities, ensuring
strategy, platform workflow, functionality and associated
documentation conforms to regulatory obligations .
To be successful in this role, you will:
- Execute the compliance management framework for the GBS
business by developing policies, procedures, training, and quality
control processes
- Review and evaluate newly published regulatory compliance rules
for applicability and compliance
- Work with line of business and/or legal entity leaders,
including Risk Officers, on annual compliance plans and help
prioritize line of business and/or legal entity compliance
efforts.
- Provide regulatory guidance on new product development
- Review product marketing material from a regulatory compliance
perspective.
- Identify and develop regulatory compliance monitoring and
testing activities to verify compliance with internal Fiserv
controls, frameworks, and standards in collaboration with business
stakeholders
- Track and report on applicable open regulatory audit or
compliance issues, ensuring remediation is completed as scheduled
(issue management)
- Engage with federal and state regulators during the course of
examinations
- Develop and enhance risk metrics and executive reporting
- Work with the stakeholders to ensure compliance efforts are
implemented, maintained, and governed effectively, building a more
compliance-aware culture
- Oversee regulatory Compliance Risk Assessments (CRA) for line
of business and/or legal entity products---including current
products, new products, deal reviews, marketing, and
contracts---What you need to have:
- 10+ years of regulatory compliance or legal experience with
financial services organizations
- Extensive knowledge of the U.S. laws, regulations, and subjects
applicable to Fiserv products and services, to potentially include
and not limited to: Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Fair Debt
Collections Practices Act (FDPCA), Unfair, Deceptive, Abusive,
Acts, Practices (UDAAP), E-Sign Act, Privacy, Complaints, Identity
Theft, Marketing, FACT Act/ Red Flags Rules, Telephone Consumer
Protection Act (TCPA), CAN-SPAM
- Knowledge of the Canadian Code of Conduct for the Credit and
Debit Card Industry, OSFI regulatory compliance guidelines and the
Retail Payment Activities Act (RPAA)
- Bachelor's degreeWhat we would like for you to have:
- Masters preferred---
- Has excellent knowledge of merchant acquiring, debt collection,
credit reporting, merchant cash advance and associated
regulations
- Deep experience responding to internal and external audits
- Integrity, ability to work independently, and strong
problem-solving skills
- Ability to establish and maintain a strong monitoring and
testing program to ensure ongoing compliance with applicable
regulations
- Travel Required: Limited travel (e.g. once or twice a

Solutions (GBS) Compliance Director will perform activities
required to ensure that Fiserv's lines of business and/or legal
entities are compliant with federal, state, provincial, and local
regulations for U.S. and Canada, as well as internal policies,
standards, and guidelines. The Compliance Director will lead
efforts to evaluate regulations, perform compliance risk
assessments, provide regulatory guidance on new product
development, advise on platform development in response to changing
regulations, identify and develop monitoring and testing routines
and partner with business leadership to address client inquiries.
The compliance director will partner with the Fiserv regulatory
exam management team and the line of business to respond to federal
and state regulatory examinations.This role is not eligible to be
performed in Colorado, California, New York or Washington.Please
