Job Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Quality Manager for their
manufacturing facility on Long Island,
NY.Responsibilities:Develops, documents, implements, and managed
the facility wide quality systemMaintains
Zero Defect Culture Champion continuous improvement/lean as the
engine of delivering consistent and reliable operational
performance.Lead, coach, and manage a team of 8 full time direct
reports.Responds, investigates, and takes appropriate action to
ensures qualitative and timely resolution of customer complaints
while decreasing overall levels of complaintsDrive internal team
development to ensure robust succession plans and talent
pipelines.Reports to Plant Manager and a dotted line reporting to
the Regional Sr. Quality Manager.Qualification and
Requirements:Bachelor s degree in a technical or quality
discipline. Graduate degree a plus, but not required.10+ years of
quality management experience in a manufacturing environment.Build
Effective Teams: Creates and communicates standards and
missionDrive for Results: Displays initiative, prioritizes time and
resources, seeks solutions and outcomes.Excellent analytical and
problem-solving skills combined with technical writing skills with
an ability to comprehend and apply technical information.
