With a current focus on mental health, gun safety, the opioid epidemic, skill-based hiring and other critical issues, the Ad Councils national campaigns encompass advertising and media content, ground game and community efforts, trusted messenger and influencer engagement, and employer programs, among other innovative strategies to move the needle on the most important issues of the day. Job Summary: The Ad Council is looking for a talented, passionate, and qualified Tech Project Manager (contract) to join our team . In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of various martech projects, including timelines and budgets. You will not only be a tech-savvy professional with an understanding of how technology can help us achieve our organizational goals, but also have excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with various team. In this role, you will be part of an internal team that values innovation, collaboration and is passionate about our end users. This is a contract employee role. This means that, while the position is at all times one of at will employment, the Ad Council anticipates at present that the employment length would be approximately 6 months with the possibility to extend the contract. Depending on experience, the compensation for this position is $12,000 monthly, paid semi-monthly. Contract employees will be eligible to participate in limited benefits and paid time off. We are also open to this role being a fully remote position. What youll do:

  • Provide end-to-end project management for various tech projects
  • Coordinate and manage tasks, deliverables, and meetings
  • Work cross-functionally across the organization and with internal stakeholders
  • Develop project plans, monitor status, and communicate progress
  • Develop, plan, and analyze requirements and standards in reference to scheduled projects.
  • Manage tech vendors and monitor progress, quality, budget, timelines, and documentation
  • Develop SOWs, change orders and manage vendor relationships
  • Ensures all deliverables are high quality and clearly documented
  • Use project management and document management software to manage and communicate project status
  • Lead regular team and internal client meetings to move work forward, monitor progress and address any questions
  • Highlight potential risks or malfunctions and act proactively to resolve issues
  • Plan and help prepare executive-level presentations and communications
  • Conduct demos and basic training of tech tools such as Salesforce and CMS
  • Provide wide range of support to the VP, Digital Marketing, and team to drive organizational efficiencies and increase productivity What youll bring:
    • 5+ years of professional work as a technical project manager
    • Professional Project Management Certification from an accredited institution required
    • Demonstrated understanding of Project Management processes, strategies, and methods
    • Managerial experience applying analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Strong leadership qualities and ability to motivate a wide variety of teams associated with the project
    • Strong communication skills to guide project teams and coordinate with vendors and management
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Strong sense of personal accountability regarding decision making and supervising department teams
    • Hands on experience with project management software
    • Strong process orientation with solid organizational and multi-tasking skills
    • Track record of collaborating with a large cross-functional teams and partners to tackle challenges, generate solutions and make forward progress
    • Passion and commitment to diversity and inclusion, inviting diverse perspectives, promoting an inclusive work environment Preferred Skills:
      • Understanding of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) methodology
      • Experience with or knowledge of Salesforce and other marketing technology tools
      • Strong knowledge of presentation tools such as PowerPoint
