Academic Affairs seeks an Academic Program Manager, reporting to
the Associate Provost of Academic Affairs. This hybrid position
will be based out of our Old Westbury campus and will play a major
role in advancing new academic programs and strategic and
curricular initiatives for the Office of Academic Affairs.
Responsibilities
-Engage campus stakeholders and partner with relevant
administrative offices and faculty to facilitate implementation of
new initiatives overseen by the Office of Academic Affairs
-Collaborate with faculty and administrators to develop and update
academic programs and curricula to align with New York Tech's
mission and meet industry and community needs
-Oversee, manage, and recommend improvement to curriculum
management workflows, technology tools, and systems
-Support administration of academic and curricular partnerships,
including the development of articulation, international, and
corporate agreements
-Make data-informed recommendations to help improve the quality of
student experience and/or operational efficiency
-Stay up to date on current trends relating to the higher education
landscape, including curriculum, workforce development, student
support, and educational effectiveness
-Seek out and keep abreast of new literature, methods, and
analytical tools as well as institutional best practices for
academic initiatives, curriculum, and educational effectiveness
-Maintain internal documentation relating to NYSED policies to
ensure compliance
-Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Higher Education Administration, Public
Administration, or related field.
- 1-2 years' experience in program management, administration or
related higher education experience.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, including ability
to work across different functional areas.
- Strong technology skills, including ability to learn new software
systems
- Ability to learn and work collaboratively in a team environment.

transparency to candidates, the annual base salary range for this
position is listed. New York Tech considers factors such as (but
not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position,
candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills,
geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market,
organizational considerations and/or applicable collective
bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
Minimum Salary
USD $70,000.00/Yr.
Maximum Salary
USD $80,000.00/Yr.
