Manager, Identity & Access Management is responsible for leading
the design, implementation, and maintenance of the identity and
access management solutions for the organization. The Manager
oversees a team of engineers who ensure the security and compliance
of the identity and access management systems and processes. The
Manager also collaborates with other IT and business stakeholders
to align the identity and access management strategy with the
organizational goals and objectives.Essential Duties and
Responsibilities
- Manage the Identity and Access Management (IAM) team, including
hiring, training, performance management, and career
development.
- Define and implement the IAM policies, standards, and best
practices for the organization.
- Design and deploy IAM solutions, such as identity governance,
single sign-on, multifactor authentication, Privileged Access
Management, Conditional Access, and identity federation.
- Integrate IAM processes and technologies with existing systems,
ensuring seamless user access across various platforms.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IAM systems and processes, ensuring
the availability, reliability, and security of the services.
- Oversee the entire identity lifecycle, from onboarding to
offboarding, ensuring timely provisioning and de-provisioning of
user access.
- Implement automated identity lifecycle management processes to
enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular audits and reviews of the IAM systems and
processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory and contractual
requirements.
- Manage the IAM vendor relationships, contracts, and service
level agreements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the IAM users and
customers, resolving issues and requests in a timely and
professional manner.
- Monitor and analyze IAM metrics and key performance indicators
(KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of IAM controls and identify
areas for improvement.
- Research and evaluate new IAM technologies and trends,
recommending and implementing improvements and innovations.The time
spent on each responsibility reflects an estimate and is subject to
change dependent on business needs.Supervisory
ResponsibilitiesYesQualifications Expected for Position
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or
related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of five years of experience in IAM, including at least
two years of supervisory or managerial experience.
- Strong knowledge and experience in IAM concepts, principles,
and technologies, such as identity lifecycle management, role-based
access control, access provisioning, access review, access
certification, and Conditional Access.
- Proficient in IAM tools and platforms, such as Microsoft Entra
ID, Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Ping Identity, or similar.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving
skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and
stakeholders.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the
ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced
environment.
- Technical certifications such as CIAM, CISM, CISSP, or similar,
are preferred.The base salary range for this position is $120,000 -
$145,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible
for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility
requirements) listed here.Total compensation is based on several
factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location,
education level, work experience, and certifications.This
