Job Summary

Sam Schwartz, a TYLin Company, is seeking a Senior Project Manager/Project Manager proficient in roadway and utility infrastructure design as well as the governmental and regulatory agency approvals processes within the New York City metropolitan area. The selected candidate would work with the Site/Civil Engineering design department in the New York City office.

Our team's work spans streets/roadways, parks, utilities, and individual developments, from large-scale site design to individual buildings and street improvements, and our projects include some of the most exciting streetscape and public realm improvements around the city and the region.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of construction documents in AutoCAD. Microstation knowledge a plus.
• Remaining up to date on regulatory agency standards, and review procedures.
• Project management abilities that will include client interface and marketing.
• Budget management.
• Project scoping and proposal preparation.
• Oversight of design and report document production.
• Other related duties associated with the position. Qualifications:
  • Experience in roadway geometry and striping design, site layout design, site grading, site utilities design, and stormwater management modeling is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 Years of Experience, including public and private metropolitan NYC projects.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
  • P.E. License
  • Project management skills.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Communication skills.
  • Client Interface/Client Management skills with demonstrated success with long-lead pursuits.
  • Established relationships at NYC and NYS agencies.
  • Ability to travel within the NYC metropolitan area.
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

    TYLin is committed to pay equity.As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $98,000 - $176,000 annually for this position and local market.
