Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek a Senior Tax Manager to join their Private Client group in their Manhattan, NY office.Responsibilities

• Support HNW clients, addressing their concerns and inquiries and handling tax planning
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with HNW clients and their families
• Understand and focus on clients' financial goals, objectives, and family dynamics
• Advise on trust and estate planning strategies tailored to individual client needs
• Provide guidance, training, and support to Private Client Practice team members
• Review complex trust and estate planning documents to ensure consistency with goals
• Implement sophisticated trust and estate planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities
• Work with the legal team on trust agreements, wills, and other estate-planning documents
• Assist clients in transferring wealth to future generations efficiently and per their wishes
• Guide clients on gifting strategies, charitable giving, and philanthropic endeavorsRequirements
  • 8+ years of tax experience
  • Familiar with HNW clients
  • Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations
  • Excellent leadership and managerial experience
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPA required
  • Skilled in Excel
