Maximum Salary $105,000.00 Job Description Come join us as a Supply
chain specialist where you will manage the end-to-end supply chain
lifecycle, including demand planning, procurement, inventory
control, and supplier coordination. Monitor supplier performance,
inventory levels, and order fulfillment to reduce risk, remove
bottlenecks, and improve service levels. Champion continuous
improvement by identifying gaps, strengthening controls, and
improving processes and systems to boost reliability and lower

Responsibilities Core Responsibilities Review Material Planning
documentation to assess on-going material strategies and
requirements Maintain inventory levels based on historical trends
and customer input to ensure adequate inventory on hand to maintain
operations requirements Identify relevant internal and external
supply trends with respect to the industry and/or inventory
management Develop the necessary analyses to support the various
material planning activities as directed by the Material Planning
Manager Collect and manage category/supplier/inventory data
including consumption data segmentation Drive Total Cost of
Ownership (TCO) concept improvements to reduce costs and
transaction; execute strategic opportunities. Identify and
facilitate the implementation of supply chain process improvement
initiatives Monitor new and existing operational developments in a
timely manner and determine impact on planning/inventory
requirements Develop impact assessments and analyses based on
market and supply trends including, but not limited to, future
supply and demand opportunities, supply risks, and sustainability
Conduct planning meetings with internal customers and suppliers
Develop impact assessments and analyses based on external market
forecasts and internal requirements Work with Operations to develop
forward looking predictive analyses based on projects, consumption
and trends Manage methodologies and tools for performance analysis
activities Enhance supplier relationships and meet with suppliers
on a regular basis Drive the accurate and timely distribution of
defined Material Planning reports to appropriate stakeholders
Provide support to Stores Operations and Procurement on financial
performance tools and processes Provide support to The Company
during emergencies, ensuring availability of key materials and
equipment Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities Qualifications
Required Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree In a related field,
such as Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, etc. and Three years
of work experience Preferred Education/Experience Master's Degree
In a related field, such as Business, Supply Chain, Engineering,
etc. and Two years of work experience Experience delivering
cross-functional technical work in supply
chain/energy/engineering/utility environments, including inventory
management and data reporting and governance. Relevant Work
Experience Strong verbal, communication, and presentation skills
(Required). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to drive
results through collaboration (Required). Effectively interact with
various levels of management, union personnel, internal and
external customers and vendors, as well as outside agencies
(Required). Solid understanding of supply chain and inventory
management systems (Required). Strong project management and
analytics skills (Required). Must be a self-starter, with a high
level of integrity, initiative, resourcefulness, and creativity
(Required). Demonstrated organizational skills; manages multiple
workstreams and deadlines (Required) Ability to deal with ambiguity
and comfortable working in a dynamic environment (Required)
Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends/issues, and
produce accurate, auditable outputs (Required) Able to exercise
judgment within defined procedures and practices to determine
appropriate action (Required). Proficiency with a variety of
software applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (Required). 5
years of experience in inventory management (Preferred). Con Edison
Operational Knowledge (Preferred). Understanding/use of Oracle EBS
(Preferred). Licenses and Certifications Driver's License Required
Physical Demands Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 25 pounds
Additional Physical Demands The selected candidate will be assigned
a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role)
and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies,
which may include nights, weekends, and holidays. Must be able to
respond to Company emergencies by performing a System Emergency
Assignment to restore service to our customers. Must be able and
willing to occasionally travel to regulatory and industry meetings,
as needed.
