Director of Analytics at Audible, you will drive the design,
implementation, and delivery of Analytics solutions in the paid
media problem space that will have a long-term impact on our
business. You will deliver solutions that address customer and
business problems in the marketing space (ROI measurement,
experimentation, optimization, etc.) and directly impact the goals
of our Marketing organization. In addition, you will raise the bar
on already well-developed sets of analytic, economic, scientific,
and financial frameworks that drive decisions across multiple
marketing channels and product surfaces. With a “consulting
mindset”, you will influence the organization towards adopting new
approaches, concepts, and paradigms. ABOUT YOU You are proficient
in SQL and Python with demonstrated experience delivering products
or prototypes end-to-end (from conception, to design, to
specification, to code, to test, to measurement, to presentation).
You possess an in-depth knowledge of relevant data sources,
business intelligence technologies, data science and analytical
tools: you know what’s possible, in which direction to steer, and
how to move fast with solutions, adjustments, and recommendations.
You connect the dots and understand system inter-dependencies and
limitations to build efficient solutions. You can frame hypotheses,
decisions, and assumptions into a testable structure. You work
fast, deliver reliably against your commitments, and have a strong
handle on processes that enable your success. You have a business
acumen that helps you speak fluently in your business partners’
language, helping them achieve or surpass their goals. You can
break down complexity and find innovative solutions to
cross-functional problems. You are a team player who is excited to
collaborate with other analysts and scientists in our broader
organization. As an Associate Director, Analytics, you will -
Define and execute measurement and optimization approaches for
Audible’s marketing organization, identifying relevant data sources
and leveraging best practice analytical methodologies, including
creating and instrumenting the right KPI framework(s) -
Consistently deliver accurate and insightful analysis, driving
high-quality decision making within our business - Work with
stakeholders across the marketing value chain, including but not
limited to the following spaces: Brand, Paid Media, Acquisition,
Promotions, Revenue Management, and Retention - Collaborate
effectively with other members of our organization, including other
analysts, scientists, and economists - Participate in the broad
Amazon insights community, sharing and leveraging best practices
and new analytical approaches - Serve as strategic thought partner
to stakeholders in the Marketing organization, earning trust
through insightful analysis and clear communication - Build and
maintain reports, dashboards, and other tools to enable on-demand
insights for the business - Write compelling documents and deliver
crisp presentations, translating complex problems into simplified,
relevant outputs that can be quickly understood and actioned by

home. - Knowledge of writing and optimizing SQL queries in a
business environment with large-scale, complex datasets -
Experience utilizing R or Python - Experience with one or more
analytics visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, QuickSight,
MicroStrategy, PowerBI) - 5 years of relevant experience in the
areas of Strategic Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Science,
or Consulting - Experience working with marketing measurement and
optimization frameworks, methodologies, and models - Experience
spearheading or supporting business initiatives through data-driven
decision making, through the conception and execution of
measurement frameworks, decision making systems, simulation and
scenario tools, and data science models - Demonstrated high
achievement in prior roles, with increasing levels of
responsibility and independence - Advanced degree, or MBA -
Experience with marketing analytics - Experience in e-commerce,
digital products or entertainment industries - Knowledge of causal

this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include
sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final
compensation will be determined based on factors including
experience, qualifications, and location. Amazon also offers
