Job DescriptionJob descriptionAxelia Partners is recruiting for a Clinical Account Manager based in New York (covering the Northeast, including NY, CT, NJ, RI, MA).Our client is a global medical device company dedicated to the advent of optical biopsy. The company researches, develops and markets innovative tools to visualize and detect cellular abnormalities during endoscopic procedures.Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, the Clinical Account Manager will ensure equipment are used and develop sales of disposables to the existing customer base by providing clinical and procedural support to existing accounts and generating a greater use of our client’s technology. Target Salary is $60K base + $30K Bonus. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Increasing sales of consumables and service to already equipped sites by encouraging use of our technology with more patients and for new applications. In this, you will supply our customers with all relevant information regarding product usage: clinical, technical, logistics, etc., as well as current and future applications (limits and opportunities). Procedural support is key to this function. You will be expected to support physicians in the operation rooms.
  • Training and regular monitoring of existing users while increasing number of users per site
  • Identification and training of new users at existing sites
  • Understanding and formalizing customer expectations (explicit, implicit, immediate and future) and forwarding this information back to operational marketing resources
  • Ensuring installation of systems and first level troubleshooting and maintenance in close collaboration with the customer support department
  • Performing product upgrades, preventive maintenance and retrieving files related to monitor the usage of installed systems
  • Supporting the sales team and distributors with clinically-related promotional activities
  • Acting as technical and clinical interface between users and headquarters in Paris. JOB REQUIREMENTSThe ideal candidate is recognized for strong sales competencies, and has the following:
    • A medical or technical degree
    • 3 years of experience as application specialist or consumable sales representative for a medical equipment company
    • Strong interpersonal skills, adaptability, rigor, listening and communication skills
    • Understanding of the impact of your role on the company performance
    • Excellent organizational and analytical skills in a highly autonomous role. This position requires very frequent travel.
