Role Summary This position is responsible for managing Company’s business within an assigned geography. This position serves as regional expert and ensures that all COMPANY’s expectations are being achieved. This person will have Area Sales Managers (ASM) within their region as direct reports and one Regional Sales Directors (RSD). Primary responsibilities include region sales growth and personnel development and assisting leadership in establishing region goals and initiatives, along with taking personal accountability for the achievement of those goals and objectives. In addition, will serve as a liaison to senior distributor management, COMPANYs strategic accounts and marketing teams. Initiatives should be relevant and consistent with company strategy and communicated clearly and positively. The RVPs will be required to make business presentations to a wide variety of individuals on an as needed basis to ensure effective communication.

Serves as a liaison to senior distributor management, COMPANYs strategic accounts and marketing teams. Initiatives should be relevant and consistent with company strategy and communicated clearly and positively. Required to make business presentations to a wide variety of individuals on an as needed basis to ensure effective communication. Ensures the continued sales and profit growth of COMPANY products Recruits, develops, retains, evaluates, disciplines, motivates, leads and trains direct reports. Complies with all COMPANY policies and procedures, ensuring that activities are conducted within Local, State and Federal laws Works cooperatively through effective communication and teaming with both field sales and all other functional departments with COMPANY Executes the company’s brands strategies and marketing programs Lead, support and enforce that all COMPANY management routines are embodied by all sales roles and demonstrated regularly. Monitors and manages distributor’s performance against COMPANY objectives, annual business plans and recommends corrective action when necessary. Ensures that distributors sell all mandatory COMPANY skus, carry sufficient stock to properly service the market and avoid out-of-stocks, and the orders are placed with sufficient lead-times. Participate in necessary trade events (industry, retail and/or consumer) such as wholesaler conferences, trade shows, events and etc. Ensures that all Company expenditures are within budget Ensures that all activities are conducted within Local, State and Federal law Responsible for servicing and maintenance of all Company assets Provides management with market intelligence (competitive, distributor and retail activity) The Regional Vice President is responsible for achieving the Company’s sales efforts in the market by: 25% of time spent interacting with distributors 25% of time spent coaching COMPANY direct reports 25% of time spent at retail with distributor leadership 25% of time spent of COMPANY administration and function Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field required A minimum of 10+ years of related experience in the beverage industry necessary 3 to 4 years previous experience in distributor/supplier management. Demonstrated ability to coach, train, and motivate others. Previous experience as a proven leader/mentor Advanced negotiation skills with proven positive outcomes needed Ability to keep abreast of all industry changes including federal, state and local law regulations; trade shows, conventions, events, retailer activity Driven for results and able to handle complexity and change Propensity to learn and strive for growth Prior budget maintenance experience helpful; Excellent presentation skills. Will be speaking one on one and with large groups and must come across confident, knowledgeable and approachable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to ensure clear and concise communication with management, co-workers and vendors/distributors. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Power Point). Ability to travel as required.
