Marketing Director - Contract Office Furniture (based in New York, NY) Our client is one of the nation's leading contract furniture dealerships with multiple office locations on the East Coast. Seeking a Marketing Director with 8-10 years of experience, in a corporate marketing role. This position will report to the EVP, Sales & Corporate Strategies in the New York office. The Marketing Director will work in collaboration with company leadership to develop marketing and business development strategies, with full oversight for the marketing department, proposals, resources and supervision of marketing support staff. Main Responsibilities Work closely with Empires EVP of Sales & Corporate Strategies and the COO to create an innovative and competitive strategic marketing program Oversee the companys marketing department, support staff and resources Own the brand architecture and identity elements across all locations and divisions Plan and manage the annual marketing budget, tracking actual spend quarterly Engage with outside vendors and agencies as needed to execute and manage various projects, such as web developers, branding agencies, video production agencies, etc. Liaise with the leadership and sales groups in each office location on overall sales & marketing initiatives for each local market Lead the execution of key client pitch materials and presentations, creating custom marketing materials to support new business efforts as needed Lead initiatives for improving the client experience, including events and all customer-facing touchpoints Work closely with HR Director on internal branding and communication efforts, including the Intranet and internal company events Website up-to-date with fresh content and information using Wordpress CMS Track website analytics and Adwords campaigns Oversee and spearhead the social media presence for the company Write and distribute company press releases and announcements as needed Develop content based on industry research, and identify new avenues for promoting/sharing the content on- and off-line Proactively monitor industry/regional publications, and generate ideas for publicity Analyze marketing activities and identify trends/patterns from the data to propose new initiatives Requirements The ideal candidate will have a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field with 8-10 years of relevant experience in a leadership role. Commercial furniture or architecture & design industry experience a plus; agency experience a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and Wordpress required. Candidate must possess leadership qualities and be detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize work efforts to meet deadlines. Competitive salary, Relocation assistance, Bonus, 401K
