Job DescriptionAREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY * Corporate Communication * Corporate Social Media -- Strategize and implement postings on three platforms * Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram * External Press Releases- Construct corporate press releases based on business needs * Internal Communication -- Build brand right messaging to send to entire company * Updates on corporate events * Human resource guidance and updates * Trend information recaps * Event Planning & Management * Yearly corporate off-site manager's meeting (approximately 150 people). Three day event. * Location / Transportation / Accommodations * Develop run of show for entire event * Create team building atmosphere through entire event. * Create all content and presentations for consistent messaging * Spearhead retailer specific presentations throughout the year * Develop corporate templates to be used with individual updates per each retailer * Lead contact for A/V needs during meeting * Partner with HR/recruitment team for college/university event needs ensuring brand integrity * Trade Shows * Recommend and spearhead all trade show logistics * Work with design team to create booth design * Serve as point person on site for each show * Retailer Presentations * Corporate Calendar * Identify and communicate key dates for all corporate events * Manage canendar conflicts and partner with appropriate leaders for solutions * Budgeting * Manage yearly budgets for all events. On time & Under budget * Supervisor * Coach, train, manage, and lead one direct report* 2-4 years' experience * corporate communication: internal company communication, external press releases, and social media * event management: trade shows, retailer presentations, company events * Budgeting Responsibility: Planning, estimating and delivering on-budget projects and events * Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills * Will interface with top level executives on various assignments and projects * Working knowledge of various visual presentation programs (PowerPoint, Key Note, Adobe Creative Suite) * Must be self-motivated, team oriented, have a collaborative approach to all projects * Time management and organization skills with attention to detail * Strong public speaker.
