Account Manager, Pharmaceutical Industry, New York/New Jersey Based, Remote Work Position Bulletin Media & Healthcare New York City, New York Description Position at Cision US The Role The Account Manager, Pharmaceutical Industry, will be a specialist in generating sales momentum for new and existing niche briefings across Bulletin Healthcare's portfolio, working with a broad group of pharmaceutical companies and their advertising agencies. The position requires knowledge of the pharmaceutical marketplace and a successful track record in selling digital advertising. The successful candidate will join an experienced and sophisticated team of healthcare media specialists who compete aggressively in the market while maintaining a collaborative internal culture. The successful candidate will have an analytical mindset and be a student of healthcare marketing, with the ability to demonstrate command of market trends and ideas for growing revenue in this fast-changing industry. This is not a "farmer" position. This role is best suited to those who thrive on using creativity and smarts to build a sustainable revenue stream with new products and continually upsell clients on the value of the existing platform. The position will require travel at least 40% of the time, primarily in the New York, New Jersey, and Philadelphia areas. This position is based in Manhattan, but remote work scenarios will be considered. Successful candidates will also have access to their own vehicles for travel in the Northeast healthcare corridor. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sell digital advertising products to clients and agencies, using a data-driven approach that focuses on ROI. Create and deliver compelling presentations and proposal documents. Gather customer feedback and information to facilitate the development of new products and services. Expand revenue opportunities utilizing analytics and other research provided by our data sciences team. At all times strive to improve on professional knowledge, technical knowledge, and sales skills. Qualifications Successful track record in sales. Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of two years related experience. Knowledge of HCP or DTC digital/mobile advertising (HCP experience preferred). Excellent communication skills, both oral and written. A mind for numbers and basic CRM and spreadsheet competency. Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to work well with the sales team, marketing, data science team, analyst group, etc. Compensation Base Salary depending on experience, plus attractive commission program.
